“Great stay!”

Kids had a great time. Good for all ages- even the grown-ups. Had Kids cabin room which was really cool for the kids- when they talked to their parents, that was the first thing they mentioned. Great stay!

“A Kid Utopia!”

Took the grandparents, who were visiting from Denver, husband, and two kids (ages 11 and 2.5) for a fun-filled spring break adventure. We stayed for one night, but got to use the water park for the day of check in and the day of check out -- until close! Everything a kid could possibly want, and even drinks at the top deck of the pool for mom. Super-fun water slides, and not overly crowded, considering it was spring break. This place is huge. They also have a kids clubhouse with lots of crafts, I took my youngest there foir a little break when the pool got to be a little over-whelming. Storytime by the big tree everynight before bed (all the kids come down in thier PJ's, soooo cute), and nature walks where a guide shows all of the cool animals and ecosystems represented.

“Great destination hotel-not much else around”

A fantastic destination hotel for family fun. Wristbands for adults contained credit card info and were your room key-also waterproof-one less thing to worry about losing at the waterpark. if you book room with Expedia, (cheaper than lodge's website) call the Lodge at least 24 hours ahead to add the breakfast package to your reservation. They discount the buffet price if you purchase ahead of time, and you can add this even though you didn't book the room through them. It is a good savings, and a decent buffet. Really nothing else around to go get breakfast-nice to stay there and get right to the waterpark. We will definitely return. A well run establishment.

“Fun family get away”

This is our second time at GWL. First time we book through the GWL website and paid more than booking through Expedia. GWL is a fun night away with the kids. We have stayed in the rooms with the cabin/tent in them and the kids love them. The beds for adults aren't very comfortable but fine for 1 or 2 nights. The water park is a lot of fun. My 5 year old loves it. My 2 year old doesn't really like the kiddie pool because water shots out at her all the time but she enjoys the regular pool with her daddy. My only complaint is that GWL does tend to nickel and dime you. They charge extra for different areas of the Lodge. The restaurants are mediocre quality at best but rather expensive. I recommend bringing cereal/fruit and snacks for breakfast and lunch and leaving the lodge for dinner. Also Magiquest is a rip off but the kids love having the wands to make all the things talk. We will go back because it a nice close to home get away and the kids have a great time.

“Corrie”

We had a great time at this hotel. The water park was great and not overcrowded since it is for guests only which makes the experience much more pleasant. The lifeguards were very well trained. My kids had a blast and we were all busy. Rooms was clean, the kidcabin we stayed in was great, the kids had their own space. The only bad thing was you could hear their tv and the one in our area, so there was no sound barrier. There are other off site restaurant options, we avoided eating onsite, it was expensive.

“Great family fun”

A great place to go and stay with the whole family. Water park was lots of fun adn there are lots of other activities should the kids get sick of the water.
