“CONVENEINT LOCATION”

POSITIVE: DECENT HOTEL FOR THE PRICE - ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT SO DIDN'T NEED A FULL KITCHEN - CONVENIENTLY LOCATED RIGHT OFF HWY 66 FOR A DIRECT PATH INTO D.C. - PLENTLY OF FOOD OUTLETS WITH IN 1 MILE RADIUS. NEGATIVE: THERE IS A FEE FOR INTERNET ACCESS

“Bad Experience”

The hotel was in a good location, close to downtown DC and the metro. When we arrived we were notified that the hotel would not have water until 3pm. The room they gave us, had just had its carpet cleaned, it smelled of mildew and were soaking wet. They changed our room which we appreciated. The next day, I went down to the front desk to get more towels. The lady informed me that the house keeper had taken all the clean towels, and if I wanted more I would have to walk the halls and find them myself. So after walking the halls of 6 floors, I finally found the housekeeper. Needless to say, this was not AT ALL a good experience.

“Fairfax Memory”

I went to stay at Extended Stay Hotel for 5 nights. Booking through Expedia is cheaper than booking at the hotel. The internet is not free but you gonna pay only once while your stay. The front deck employees sometimes didn't stay there most of the time and you have to ask for them. The housekeeping come one day and skip the another. Overall, I recommend you to stay there if you look for a good price and small kitchen.

“Not disappointed”

I was not disappointed, and certainly not impressed. The location (Centreville, VA) was fine, but the actual room was not what I expected. The kitchennette did not have a stove (to bake, cook a pizza, etc.) and I could smell cigarette smoke from the room above. The tv was small (probably not too expensive to upgrade to some flat screens that are more than 22") and the satellite connection would consistently go out (probably from the snow storm). Definitely enjoy the Extended Stay in Cary, NC off Regency PKWY a lot more than this one.

“Meriyanti”

We book double bed non smoking room. The kitchen and rest room is clean. The two beds spread sheet and blanket full of holes. I think its from previous guest who smoke. They suppose to know we book non smoking room but end up like got smoking room anyway. They suppose to change the bed, bed sheet and blanket. Its seems sleeping stuff were not cleaned very well. I will not recommend this place to others

“Great customer service”

The check-in process was fine, but when we got to our room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though it was designated as a non-smoking room. After a call to the front desk they showed us another room -- different configuration with beds, but actually a larger room that was smoke-free and met our needs quite well. Customer service was excellent in making us satisfied customers. They were also able to give us a late checkout which was helpful with the schedule of our children.

“QUALITY FOR A 2 STAR”

ok this is my chance to right an honest review of the hotel, so here i go!!!! FIRST and foremost for those of you who are new to expedia or travel in general i am just letting you know you need a credit card a license to check in! if you dont have one you are out of luck. OVERALL the hotel was great it was clean, spacious and they had FREE showtime def a plus for a 2 star! The bathroom was well maintained and their was plenty of hott water. they have a heating and air conditioning unit in every room which you can adjust to your liking!!!! the hotel is also located right next to a 24 hr drive through mcdonalds def a plus i hit it up a few times after 11 and the food was fresh. now on to the bad things.....NO WAKE UP CALL....ARE YOU SERIOUS! for those of you, who are like me and sleep through alarms be prepared THIS HOTEL DOES NOT OFFER WAKE UP CALLS that is VERY important to me. however they do have a little alarm clock in every room, but also bring your own! although this is a 2 star hotel i would of like the oppertunity to buy pay per veiw movies like at other hotels but again this was a 2 star so maybe i shouldnt complain about it. other than that the surrounding community was safe and clean and the property was well lit and maintained! as for the service the employee''s were very friendly and ready to help... i acutally locked myself out of my room and they immeaditly opened it for me. SO I HOPE THIS REVIEW HELPED.... I WAS COMPLETLY HONEST. YES I WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN

“Stay Away!!”

I can't believe this place received the praising reviews it did when I checked online. The front desk receptionist was rude. The hotel seems dirty all around. When we walked into the room it stunk so bad of lingering food from perhaps the previous people. It was 11pm when we checked in so we quickly settled in and hoped the smell would go away. I went to wash my face and 4 of the towels were dirty!!!! I mean stained so bad that you couldn't be sure if they were clean or not. The beds are so uncomfortable that a good nights sleep is impossible. There is a little kitchenette which was nice, but they do not give you any toiletries. What kind of place doesn't give toiltetries. So we had to go out and buy some dish soap to wash any dishes we used. Not a big deal except even the smallest bottle was way too much for what we needed. They should provide a little bottle if they have a kichenette. Here is the kicker: THEY CHARGE YOU FOR HOUSEKEEPING!!!!!! Yes, unless you stay for 7 days or more, you do not get housekeeping and even then you only get it once. We had to exchange out our own towels and take out our own trash. I am certainly capable of doing this myself, but this is a hotel for goodness sake. This hotel is horrible and there are plenty of other hotels in the area that are nicer, friendlier, cleaner, more comfortable for the same price range. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here!!!!!
