First the positives: (1) the manager was helpful and even drove me to one of my appointments; (2) the location is good if you need to be central but out of downtown (plus it is located right next to Century Mall so plenty of decent food options to walk to safely); (3) the apartment was a small one bedroom with cooking facilities if you wanted them); and (4) the price was reasonable.
Next the negatives: (1) it took a while to arrange for Internet; (2) the apartment was a little beat up (the price I paid was not very high so this is understandable I guess); and (3) it was difficult for people visiting me to get in (since this is not a formal place of business and security is not aware of the situation).
Summary: I would not stay there if I was on vacation and wanted a real Capetown feel. There are many nice B & Bs to choose from as alternatives. However, for my needs (a central out of downtown place convenient for my business meetings) it was quite reasonable for the money.
