Great view of the Marina!Posted Feb 28, 2015
This was a decent place to stay that was close to New Orleans without being in the city. It is an older hotel but everything worked and the room was very comfortable. The bed was one of the best at a hotel. The nights were very quiet. The staff was fantastic and super helpful.

Weekend at the Marina MotelPosted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: The convenience to the Chalmette area.
Cons: Include breakfast with the price.
It's a bit far out for people who want to prowl Bourbon Street, but it is a comfortable hotel with good parking. This was the fourth time I have stayed here - the second post-Katrina. They have enlarged the motel since Katrina and it is a quiet place to stay.

Nice little place in a pinch.Posted Jan 12, 2015
We couldn't find a place in the Quarter to stay on NYE, so we got as close as possible. For what we paid, they hotel was great. Clean, quiet, and friendly.

This motel is better than what I expected. Relatively clean and comfortable room/bathroom. 20 minutes drive to Bourbon St/French Quarter!

Needs a little updatingPosted Jan 5, 2015
Hotel stay was fine. It could use a little updating. Staff was nice. Was overall comfortable, but could have been a little cleaner.

Win/winPosted Jan 4, 2015
Went for a short trip to watch the buckeyes being home a win from the sugar bowl. Last minute booking... Cheap room. I have to say for the price we paid the hotel was great. Cab service is available to and from burbon and near by locations. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely book there again .

Worth what you pay forPosted Jan 4, 2015
Went to the sugar bowl. Hotel was by itself way off the betten path. If your looking for something close to the action this is not the place. But it was fairly clean the staff was frendly and the price was very good for new orleans. Cab to freanch Q was between 30 and 40$. Its about a 25 min drive to the action but its an easy drive just two streets. It was safe but not really a family type place. Just a small pool and not much more. If your just looking for a place to sleep it not bad. You get what you pay for.
