Clean dog-friendly hotelPosted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: Everyone was friendly - the desk clerk, the cleaning staff, and the lady working the breakfast area.
Cons: I can't fault the hotel for this - they are hemmed in with streets and businesses on all side, but a bigger grassy area to walk the dog would be nice.
Location: Upper Crust Pizza right across the street is very good and convenient, and there is a walking trail (approx 2 miles long) along the River.
We spent 3 nights in Chamberlain for the pheasant season opener, and this place fit the bill perfectly. The staff were all friendly and pleasant, breakfast was good, and I wasn't even charged an additional fee for bringing our dog. Opening weekend means the hotel is full of hunters and quite a few dogs, but it was a classy crowd - quiet, tidy, and very welcoming for a couple of newbie hunters with a rookie dog. The pool and hot tub looked very nice, but we didn't get around to using them. I didn't see any other hotel in Chamberlain /Oacoma that I would rather have stayed at.

Very roomy, clean, and friendly staff.Posted Oct 20, 2014
Friendly staff and large room. Beds were very comfortable. Carpet seemed a little old and worn. Would have liked a fridge.

Would not reccomend.Posted Oct 8, 2014
Older and not in the best of condition although it has been remodeled. Water took longer than it should to get hot. Other issues and they did give us a partial credit.

Decent hotel.Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Clean, well-maintained, with polite staff.
Cons: The sheets really need to be upgraded. It was like sleeping on sandpaper.
Location: Across the street is the best pizza place I have ever eaten at! It's called The Upper Crust, and it is amazing!
Clean, well-maintained rooms and a polite staff. At check-in, the desk clerk gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner. The only disappointments were the small size of the bath tub and the very scratchy sheets.
