The gentlemen that greeted us was very unpleasant and unfriendly and unwelcoming. Needs to find another job because I think he hated this job. I would have gone elsewhere if I had not already made the reservation. Otherwise the room was clean.

Clean and a good value

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: Good location just off the freeway. Brand new mattresses.
Cons: A few more choices at the breakfast bar.
Location: We didn't do anything in the area.
We needed one night along our stay. The room was clean. Breakfast was adequate.

Good place to stop on way to the Black Hills

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: Indoor pool and hot tub. Air conditioner worked very well.
Cons: More variety for breakfast. Consider charging a refundable damage deposit instead of a flat rate for each pet.
We stayed here because it was about 3/4 of the way from home on our way to the Black Hills, and they allowed pets. (For an extra charge.) There is a nice place to eat just up the road a little ways called Al's Oasis. The only problem we had was a severe thunderstorm knocked out power for about 4 hours. If that happens a lot around there, it would be nice if they had a generator for back-up power.

Older Days Inn

Minimum up-keep, doors had to be yanked open, toilet seats loose.

Nice place to stay for a night.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: My bed was very comfortable. It was quiet even though the motel was full both nights.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved, but it was very good for an economy motel.
Location: There was a lot of outdoor activities nearby. Beach swimming and golfing. I know there is a lot of good fishing and hunting in the area for hunters.
My two boys, wife and myself spent two nights and it was OK. I really liked my bed. Slept very well. The facility was quiet and clean. I would recommend families staying here on their way to and from the Black Hills. The price was right as well. It was $20-$30 cheaper per night than anywhere else in Oacoma or Chamberlain.

Good place to stop in for a night, on the river

Fairly nice hotel, clean room, close to the river, down the street from Al's Oasis.

Price was OK

Small room. Extremely loud fan in bathroom that couldn't be shut off. Breakfast marginal.

Pros: very friendly helpful staff
there was a snow storm, and we desperately needed lodging, this would have been our first choice, had we known the accomodations were as nice as they were.

Good value for over night accommodations.

Pros: Price and condition of rooms and common space.
Cons: Firmer pillows and larger bath towels.
Location: Fishing, Boating, Hunting
The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. Coffee was hot and tasty also.
