“A pleasant stay”

Stayed for one night on a Saturday. Hotel staff was very cheery and helpful. Food was great. I slept well, which I usually don't in a hotel. A good deal for the money considering the amenities.

“Management more like unfunny comedians!”

Great beds, amenities, everything was great except, the pool and managment as a whole. First off I had to swim after checkout, and your cleaning lady lets her kids use the pool during this time, "GET A CLUE!" Your staff smokes in the parking lot and plays loud music in their boom boom car! WONDERFUL! And finally the pool yes a common problem in lower quality hotels. The lack of backbone for managment to ask the patrons who are all these kids parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I seen about six adults and about 20 kids HEY IF I WANTED THE "Y" I WOULD HAVE PLOPPED DOWN A FEW BILLS AND WENT TO THE COMMUNITY POOL! Management, my kids love you .........NOT! A note to the owners you have a really really nice hotel and it is only crowded because you are a nice hotel and not the most expensive, but to all the people who read this and you will thank me spend the extra few dollars and go to the couple of higher price hotels, one has a ok size pool and the other is larger you will thank me trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Oh yeah that same element is in for the free grub, might want to discontinue that it brings it adds to the allready bad element your management fosters good luck!

“Perks in Some Areas, Lacking in Others”

Drury in Champaign was not the quality I have come to know from its other hotels throughout the Midwest. Yet, tt was functional, fairly clean, and pool area nice. Also breakfast and happy hour where a plus. My only complaint was erratic plumbing and dark decor in rooms and hotel. Overall, though , for price would recommend.

“Pleasantly surprised how nice the accommodations, service, etc. for the price.”

Convenient, clean, courtesy and great breakfast.

Area recommendations

This was conveniently located near the church and wedding venue for the wedding I attended, as well as right off the interstate so I could get back on the road home conveniently. It was two minutes from a mall and other conveniences, such as restaurants, etc.

“very very very nice”

We traveled to see our daughter in college and was warmly greeted by the staff, they accomidated us when we needed an extra bed for our daughter's friend and the food in the reception area was great.

Area recommendations

I would avaid the Green Street area unless you are looking to party with college age kids, other than that the city as a whole is clean and safe.
