“kickapoo state park”

We picked this hotel for convenience to Kickapoo State Park and the Sleepy Creek Winery - Hotel is close to everything you might need. Mall and restaurant nearby - Thai food and Mexican right on the property.

“The ECONO lodge”

This motel was not bad. The staff were friendly and courteous. The owner works the front desk, and was very friendly and helpful. My room, although badly outdated, was clean. The bed was pretty comfortable, but I have trouble sleeping anywhere when I am not at home. There was always hot coffee in the lobby. If you are in Champaign, and on a budget, this would be a great place to stay. There is even an on site laundry facility for guests.

“Easy access-fair price”

This hotel was very close to the highway with very easy access. The price was cheaper in person than reserved rate on expedia. Friendly and caring service. Room was adequate for a short overnight stay.

“It was Ok for what we needed at the time for the price”

The price was great. The room was ok except the door to the room was hard to open from the outside and the inside. You could see the outside from around the door. The staff was great very friendly and polite. The pillows were very flat and the beds were hard. They had a great continental breakfast.

“Not what was expected!”

The hotel listed a pool...maybe they had one at some point, now filled with dirt. Rooms were upstairs, no elevator. Windows of room was VERY dirty, however the room seemed clean. Bathroom floor was very clean. Room did smell quite musty. Didn't even try the breakfast...that area seemed unkempt.

“Nothing fancy...”

Had a good continental breakfast, good shower and water pressure. It had snowed quite a bit 2-3 days before our stay and on Friday the parking lot was a mess. Very hard to park. They did have it plowed for Saturday nights stay.
