“Very nice”

This was the first time we stayed at the I Hotel - it is where we'll stay from now on when visiting Urbana-Champaign.

“Pleasantly surprised”

We were travelling with our infant son, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that the baby was comfortable and that we had everything we needed for him - the Graco Pack n Play they provided turned out to be exactly the same as the one we have at home, and it was clean and in great condition. Overall the staff was prompt, friendly and laid back without being unprofessional. I had no problems getting on the internet using my laptop, and it was free. Free newspapers. Nice breakfast the next morning at Houlihans, with pleasant outdoor seating, and there is a Starbucks-like coffee bar in the lobby. Did not get a chance to use the fitness facility, but the bellman told us we could get bottled water there if we needed it for the baby. Easy parking and great location. We would definitely stay here again if we ever had to come back to Champaign.

This hotel has the BEST service of all the hotels I've been to all over the world. We were there for a conference at a nearby venue. The hotel shuttle sent us to and from the conference daily FOC and sent us to the transit terminal when we left. The entire hotel and the rooms are new, very clean and very comfortable. I will not stay anywhere else when I go to Illinois again.

“I hotel at University of Illinois Urbana”

The I hotel was very clean with updated amenities. They had a workout room with water, towels and headphones for the machines. There is a Starbucks and Houlihans which is convenient in the morning for breakfast. The hotel gave us complimentary passes for 1/2 off breakfast at the restaurant or a free pastry and coffee at Starbucks. It is located in the Southern part of the University of Illinois Urbana campus next to the basketball and football stadiums.

“Wowed by the staff and facility at the I-Hotel!”

The staff and the hotel exceeded my expectations. I have never been at a hotel where the staff treated me exceptionally well. They went out of their way for me and our group. The many personal touches around the hotel made me feel welcome. I can only rave about the excellent customer service that was provided from the time I was greeted in the airport to the time I was transported back to the airport. Mr. Fox can be proud of his staff. I tell my story repeatedly about my stay and excellent service received during the six nights at the I-Hotel. From the water by the gym, hand towels in the gym, modern equipment, no charge internet service, available computers and printer at no charge, room safe for pesonal items, books to read, TV, refrigerator, cleanliness, complimentary tickets to the girls basketball game-Penn State vs. Illinois, serving us breakfast at 6:10 am when they opened at 7, and the consistent, caring, friendly staff. I felt catered to and special to the staff. Great Service! Great Hotel!

“great service”

The Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. Loved the car service(free). Was touring the University with my daughter and the car service dropped us up at our appointments and picked us up after our tours (very large campus). The restaurant was very good and convenient after a long day. They also dropped us off at the Willard Airport (10 mins away). Will be coming back.

Excellent value, lovely room. Will stay here again when we're in the area...none of the other hotels here are as pleasant.
