Not very close to campus and rooms not that clean or comfortable. Would recommend staying someplace else next year.

Could easily been better with a few more amenities

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Less expensive than other hotels and room was clean.
Cons: LOTS !! See above!!
Location: Near Hwy several fast food places near by. On the outskirts of town.
No frig,no microwave,no coffee pot,no closet (instead18" wall mounted rack w/6 hangers) and no hooks to hang clothes or towels in bathroom or in the room at all for that matter. No iron or board, no face bowl in bathroom so have to leave bathroom to wash your hands. Room was clean, 2 dbl beds ok but pillows (mashed down) could have been better. Only other furniture was 2 hard uncushioned chairs, no pens, pencils or paper 2bath towels 2hand towels,2 face towels and 2disposable plastic cups with plastic ice bucket w/ no lid. Only one tiny waste basket in whole room (none in bathroom). Heater/air conditioner kept rm. temp. comfortable. All wall outlets on far side of room. Had tv but no clock or radio. It seemed you could hear every step the people upstairs took but otherwise not real noisy. Hallway rug severely stained and strong smell of smoke and/or other odors.

Pros: Easy to get to, right off of interstate.
Cons: Make the hotel smoke free, do a better job of cleaning. Make sure that bedding is in good condition.
Location: Relatively convenient to get to University of Illinois football games.
Hallways smelled like cigarette smoke. Our room was non smoking, had the slight smell of cigarette smoke, but wasn't too bad. The beds were hard, the pillows were flat and there was what appeared to be a cigarette burn in one of the pillowcases. There was no hair dryer or kleenex in the room. The bathtub had some black stains in it and the rest of the bathroom didn't seem like it was very clean.

great value for the money

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: value and the staff was very likeable and friendly
Cons: I am hard of hearing, so might have been just me, but I had trouble understanding the English of the staff.
Location: quiet location near major Interstate, close to reg. shopping mall and main campus of the Univ of IL Plenty of drive thrus nearby
This is great place to stay if you want value and don't want to pay for things like spas and pools you won't use anyway. There were a couple of problems in the 2 days I was there, but the staff was quick to fix them. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. The location is close to things you wanna have--the Interstate, gas stations, 24 hr food, good range for delivery, great bbq place and dollar store for the toiletries and things you forgot to pack or need to replentish

Reunion without a snag

Posted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location and the staff
Cons: Pillows and mattresses
Room was clean and staff was really nice. A/C didnt blow as cold as I wanted but still kept the room cool. Bed was a little soft and the pillows a little flat but overall I would stay there again with no problem at all

Does anyone work here?

Posted Sep 9, 2014
We arrived at the lobby and no one was at the desk. We tried buzzing the night check in and no one responded. We looked at the closed circuit monitors and no one was visible. After more than twenty minutes a man came in the lobby and we asked if he knew if anyone worked there. He went down a corridor and disappeared. After a few more minutes a woman appeared in the lobby and finally checked us in. We went to our room and bed covers were in complete disarray. Thinking we had been assigned the wrong room we returned to the lobby to be told that the housekeeper had not shown up and there were no other rooms available. She did not even apologize. This was about two in the afternoon and there were only two cars in the lot. We were stunned. We returned later to ask for a refund. The lobby woman had to get approval from another woman...apparently by that time they had two employees. This was the strangest lodging experience we have ever had.

Pros: cheap
Cons: office/front desk smell, it will look much better if hallway are re-painted
Location: shell gas station, not far from everything, UIUC and Marketplace Mall
the room is fine but the office and hallway were very smelly, i was quite scared when walked in the long, old hall way at night.

Just a place to crash.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
This place is definitely just a place to crash for the night. The entire place smells like mold and cigarettes.
