“Best hotel ever”

My fiance and I were visiting Champaign Urbana to look for an apartment, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They were very friendly and were willing to visit with us and give us advice on what parts of town to live in and which to avoid as well as give us maps of the area so we could find our way around more easily. The rooms were very nice and had a refrigerator and microwave which were perfect for us since we packed a lot of our own food to cut down on expenses. The breakfast the hotel offers was also wonderful and put other hotel breakfasts to shame. All of the food was very good, and there was a wide variety of options to choose from ranging from toast and dry cereal to waffles and hard boiled eggs. We will without a doubt tell our friends and family to stay here when they come to visit the area.

“Excellent Home Base”

Visited Champaign-Urbana for film festival, so all we needed was a clean, comfortable room at an affordable price. This is exactly what we received. And while the free breakfast was so-so--but fine for coffee and carb-loading--the other amenities were as advertised. It's a yearly festival, and we'll definitely stay here again. High points: Friendly personnel, spotless room, good wifi.

We had an awesome stay the weekend of the State Science Fair. The staff was very helpful and polite to us and all other travelers. Breakfast was just what we needed to get our day started. Thanks Ramada!

I was impressed with the room amenities relative to what I paid. Staff was friendly. I'm glad I chose to stay here instead of one of the more expensive hotels nearby.

Continental breakfast left something to be desired. Attendant very slow about refilling, so everyone was waiting to get something to eat. But rooms clean and comfortable, would go back.

“Great hotel in Champaign/Urbana”

My daughter and I went to meet up with my husband. He had been working away from home for about two weeks and wouldn't be able to come home for about another two weeks. I got on the internet and started googling hotels in the area he was and somehow I got off on Expedia. When I checked on rates we ended up with this hotel because of the location to the plant he was working at, the fact the it had two queen beds not two double or full and the rate we were quoted with EXpedia!! Everything was great from check-in to check-out! The breakfast was good too!! Would stay here if we go back.

“Family Traveler”

Hotel staff was friendly and went beyond the minimum to help guests. I was so glad to pull in the driveway and see a nice looking building...then walk in to a warm "Welcome to Urbana, how can we assist you." Pros: + Clean, clean, clean + Great friendly staff + Pool was very nice + Location was superb + Quiet - tons of high school kids there for soccer, yet once the door shut I did not hear a thing Cons: - Breakfast had no fruits or veggies, nor eggs

“Nice place”

My bf and I stayed there for five nights while visiting family. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, and there were no real problems. They have a pool and a hot tub, which is nice, though there is of course a lot of chlorine in the pool, so bring goggles!
