"Great place to stay, if Noise doesn't bother you."
The room was great, nice size, and a place to not only sleep, but also to work and socialize with the couch. But there were only ice machines on a couple of floors. And when we checked in, there was what looked like pubic hair in our bathroom sink. I brushed it out and went on about our stay. There was a major celebration going on in downtown Champaign that night, and unfortunately, our room was on a side that faced a bar, 5 stories down. But they DID provide earplugs on the night stand.
I don't feel like I should have to use ear plugs to get a quiet night's sleep.
The breakfast provided was good, and the person taking care of the area was gracious, and helpful in any way she could be.
Reception and check in staff were kind and helpful.
I love that they allow pets, but feel they should have an area of the hotel where other pet people are, as there were two rooms near us, both with dogs. One set of dogs would begin barking and get the dog in the other room to begin barking. This went on for hours, and the desk said that they were trying to reach the owners, but, I would guess that they were at this major celebration, mentioned earlier. If the animals had all been in one area of the hotel, the barking would have been, if not expected, at least tolerated, because of other pet owners.
It does cost extra for parking, which I didn't notice when I booked. I didn't mind, just would have like to have known ahead of time.
