Arrived late on Friday. Check in was not an issue at all given our late arrival. Rooms were very comfortable. Good amenities. Wireless WiFi worked fine. The room cleaner was a bit keen on her spray products though, so needed a bit of an airing after room service.
The area around the hotel is reasonably quiet at night. There was some comedy horn honking one night but you get that in any city. The rooms facing out have two sets of windows (to minimize noise) and blackout blinds.
There are Cafe's across the road and around for breakfast that are much cheaper (and better in my opinion) than the 24 euro PP hotel breakfast.
For the location, comfort and staff I'd thoroughly recommend.

Hotel Élysées Opéra is a multi-story hôtel north of Gare St. Lazare in the 8th arrondisement. The hôtel sits in the center of the block and is conveniently located in the center of four Metro stops. There are numerous restaurants on its street, rue de Turin. To the south is Place de Dublin with several restaurants and to the north is Boulevard des Batignolles with many restaurants, especially at Place de Clichy.
Inside the 19th Century façade is a classic picture of a small Parisian hôtel but recent in origin. The building renovated, with modern facilities (and enough electric outlets per room). The room and hôtel were very clean. The small lobby has a small reading room to the right as one enters. Recent newspapers are there. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours per day, and since it is a three-star hotel, the staff must speak English. My French is good enough for casual conversation; their English is at a level where we can discuss concepts such as laicite and French heritage in English.
In our room, the shower and toilet were separate and modern. The room was small but comfortable with a bed, two chairs and a desk. The streets are close together, so our room window looked over the next street but there is a balcony where we would stand to look at a classic Parisian street.
We spent more than we expected but received good value. We would stay again.

Very centrally located with eat aces to metro. The hotel is excellently appointed with great attention to detail. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive to guests' needs. I would definitely recommend This hotel to others and would consider staying there in the future (Note: There was construction on the facade during our stay but it did not negatively impact out experience).

I was in Paris for 1 night only, but it felt like it was enough time to get a feel for the hotel. My experience was great. The staff was phenomenal. They helped me find what I was looking for, gave me directions, walked me out even with my bags etc.
The room is small, but you have to remember it's small American standards. I got a single room, single bed and it was perfect for 1 person. The room was clean, with towels etc. There was Wifi in the room that was good enough to contact my family etc. My room was towards the back of the building and I could hear generators running all night, but that didn't bother me.
The location of this place was just AMAZING. I can't stress how great it was. I was only a few blocks from the Champs-Élysées. There was also a pharmacy, and many cafes just outside the hotel, about a block away. I would recommend this place to anyone. If it's a couple, I would recommend a bigger room of course.

Between Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, this famous tree-lined thoroughfare strikes through the heart of western Paris. Luxury shops, monumental 19th century buildings, upscale apartments, restaurants and multinational corporations line the streets around La Madeleine. Landmarks include the Grand and Petit Palais, Palais de la Découverte (science museum), and the presidential palace. Gare St-Lazare stands on its eastern edges.
