Chanchun's best hotel for the valuePosted May 3, 2012
Pros: swimming pool and dinner buffet.
Location: far from anything. by 'far' I mean a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride.
Great hotel with one of the best swimming pools I have seen at a hotel. Wonderful dinner buffet with all you can eat and drink (sake for me). My only issue is it is far from everything, but still probably the best hotel choice in Changchun.

Excellent hotel - west side of ChangchunPosted Mar 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
Hotel staff were very helpful - I was able to book a meeting room and catering over the phone prior to my arrival as a guest. That said, it very much helps to be able to speak Mandarin, as fewer members of staff are as proficient in English as similar quality hotels in other, larger cities. The breakfast buffet is large with lots of variety. The coffee is good. These two items are important as the location of the hotel is not close to downtown with lots of cafes or bakeries, or other breakfast options. The taxi fare from this hotel to Changchun Longjia Airport was 120 rmb, and it took an hour to get there on a relatively traffic-free Saturday morning.
