Excelent location very close to business and good restaurants. The staff is excellent and the rooms are big suites. My only complaint is that the rooms look very dated (80-s) and need better maintenance (dings etc). Otherwise very good value for money compared to hotels in the vicinity.

Elevator was not working during the last two days of my stay there and I was on the seventh floor.
I had a guest stay with me for part of my stay; the additional charges associated with a guest staying wasnt explained to me and I was billed at check out. Better communication from staff would be appreciated.

Pros: clean hotel, well-situated considering layout of Bogota. Very professional staff, big rooms. Breakfast is excellent. Cabs always available.
Cons: language barrier creates problems and they don't always answer the main phone line at hotel. Dinner was fair and service at dinner was also fair. Bar is well-designed but service is inefficient there.

The good - I travel for over 6 months a year. I have never found a staff that is nicer.
If you are addicted to internet like I am, wifi is great here - as long as you are on a floor that has a router. Ask for that.
The bad - Expedia says this hotel speaks English. They don't, and my Spanish is very bad. But the answer is google translator. Just say - traducir en Google. And you are good.
The rooms themselves are small. You want this hotel because you want a fine hotel at economy rates. If you want very nice rooms, then this is not the hotel for you.
This hotel is right next to a major street. There are busses and taxis are everywhere and at good rates. But if you want a hotel that is in the middle of nightlife, you want a different hotel.

By day, the Chapinero barrio in Bogotá abounds in shopping and dining options, and tourists admire the gothic arches and spires of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. By night, Chapinero pulses with the energy of its nightclubs and bars. Well known for its diversity, the Chapinero Alto neighborhood in particular offers an array of LGBT-friendly venues.
