Beautiful location if the weather is goodPosted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: Great staff and good food, great freshly cooked English Breakfast in the morning
Cons: Feather pillows
Location: A bit off the beaten track but that is what's good
Really nice small hotel, great restaurant with a superb outdoor garden with a small lake and very friendly ducks.

Perfectly adequate for B&B stayPosted Apr 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
Quaint hotel set in attractive riverside grounds but décor is tired and is in need of some renovation. Very friendly staff. Restaurant has a decent menu but emphasis is more on quantity than quality, so only adequate.

DisappointingPosted Jan 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Unfortunatwly this stay was not what I thought it would be. The tv and phone were disconnected in my cold room. The food was ok but not well presented and th bar closed at 10pm! As I was entertaining a client it seemed cheap and not very welcoming. However, the surrounding environment and grounds are beautiful and the staff were very helpful.

One night stop over.Posted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: The comfort and staff friendliness.
Cons: The only improvement I would recommend would be to add an electric shower, the one attached to the bath taps is barely worth using.
Location: Used as a stop over on the way somewhere else.
Beautiful setting in lovely grounds of an old water mill, which can still be used! Lovely meal in the restaurant at a reasonable price.
