The taxi cabs were two expensive for four minutes rides and they are not enough restaurant open in the middle of the afternoon. The tourist area they close and reopen late

Very comfortable hotel
Great hotel in the very centre of Cognac, ideally placed to explore the old town and access the Cognac Houses.

And yes, we are located in the heart of downtown Cognac. Cognac Houses, such as Hennessy, Camus and Meukow offer tours not far from our Hotel (about 500 meters)

It was very clean and the staff were friendly. The one problem was that we were charged 41 euros for breakfast and we only had a coffee and a croissant - that is far too expensive. That slightly spoiled the otherwise positive experience.

Imply stunning
An example of how a hote should be, staff attentive and engaging, the whole hotel is immaculately presented with very comfortable beds. The bar served a very good planche mixt, and the buffet breakfast faultless.

Lovely hotel. Service very good except in the bar as this did not seem to be waitress service. Good position in cognac very central.

Visit Cognac
We wanted a central location to visit Cognac and the location, with parking was a great spot. Friendly, helpful staff and a nice breakfast. We did not use the spa facilities but is was nice to have them available. Good restaurants nearby and a walkable area.

The property is wonderful with luxurious amenities and touches, but the staff are amazing! They went out of their way to find open restaurants during a holiday and made fabulous recommendations for other occasions.

Overnight Stay in Cognac
From going through the electronic doors with the car, the very friendly and informative booking in, the Cognac cocktails in the bar, the arranging of our dinner in "La Maison", to the breakfast and check-out this was a fabulous experience. The room on the second floor had a great view of the bustling square, but even though there was a lot of traffic the triple glazing cut the noise down to a murmur. The bathroom was very luxury and the towels were really soft and substantive in size. The bed was big and comfortable, the air-con kept the room at a really comfortable temperature. I will definitely use this Hotel again, if I am ever staying over in Cognac. Thanks to Catherine, the receptionist, for a very welcoming and informative chat.

Everything was primo except Internet. Some problems caused it to drop out frequently. Sign on did not go as instructed, but attendant responded immediately to attend to the problem. Overall loved this hotel and would not stay anywhere else in Cognac.

Well-placed hotel with great staff.
The hotel is well located right in the centre of Cognac, but there was no noise in our room as windows were well insulated. The building is historic but has a comfortable modern interior with air conditioning. Staff were welcoming and considerate, which I appreciated especially as my mobility was not great at the time. Good car parking. Would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous Hotel in a iconic French town
This is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. It started off well when we were upgraded to the prestige suite. The facilities are excellent, nespresso coffee machine thick towels, beautifully comfortable bed to name just a few. The experience is made special by the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff, epitomised by Thibault a real credit up the Hotel. If you are going to Cognac I don't think you will find a better hotel then this.

excellent everything. hotel is in fan condition with fab staff. the bedrooms are well thought out as in light switches and plugs. the pool although small has a huge pump in it so you can swim against the current and get no where, robes, towels and flip flops were readily available. great location, fab beer garden. like I say excellent everything

Bar closed on Monday, no cocktails or other drinks, unacceptable in a so called 4* hotel. No dining room or dinner. Difficult to find space to park a Range Rover in the hotel car park. Breakfast cheese was stale. Ham etc. not topped up as they ran out.

Enjoyed a 5 day break in Cognac. Hotel was very smart and the staff most helpful. You can hear the hustle and bustle in the square when you are staying in a room at the front but with the windows closed and a/c switched on then it becomes acceptable. We would definitely stay here again.
