Clean hotel

Clean hotel. A little walk from the port. Supermarket is 10-15 minutes away so if not travelling by car it can be difficult

Not bad but budget range, close to train station

Posted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good points: 10 mins walk to gare, left luggage service (certain hours), clean room, friendly staff. Bad points: noisy with window open (next to hospital and train line), room was very hot, neighbourhood not great, 15-20 min walk to port.

Average budget hotel

Posted Jun 4, 2013
Pros: balcony, space in room
Cons: damp, no lift
Location: ok for central la Rochelle. Street lights didnt work so not good at night
good location, free parking, room of a good size with balcony (if you select that choice). Downside damp in bathroom as fan doesnt work and no lift. Its a step down from sejours et affaires chain having stayed there too. Good size room and enough storage space. Generally needs a bit of tlc and will be fine.

hotel close to attractions of La Rochelle

Posted Sep 7, 2012
* The hotel has expensive breakfast (Eur9), but in the room there is cooker, microwave, fridge, all kitchen utilities (plates, cups, pots, pans, forks, knifes, spoons, etc, so it is better to make breakfast yourself). Hotel changes towels only 1/week, so keep them dry. * The hotel is clean and room is clean on arrival, but they do not clean it during your stay, so keep it clean. * The hotel is close to centre of La Rochelle (with interesting places to see, like relaxing marina with restaurants, aquarium, bus station (to go to the beaches of island Re, or Les Minimes beach, or Buzay chateau).

Is OK here. Reminds me of student halls of residence, but the ability to cook is a bonus. Near to the centre, and a gret city.

hotel location

Posted Jun 22, 2012
Pros: Staff where help full & friendly
Cons: the bed wasa fold-out couch
Location: close to the railroad station, hospital & major highways
the hotel is located close to the hospital, approx a 15 minute walk to the downtown core thru the mostly commercial area and fairly busy thorafares.
