Perfect for a one night stayPosted Apr 7, 2014
Very convenient for restaurants and shops, great being able to get into our room early , to park the car and forget about it for more than 24 hrs. staff very friendly and helpful. Good having tea , coffee and water in the room. Would prefer separate toiletries. shampoo , conditioner. not a good view from our bedroom but fine for our one night stay

Close to everythingPosted Sep 21, 2013
Pros: It was comfortable and convenient.
Cons: We don't like sleeping under duvets - too hot & heavy. I'd like a regular sheet and light-weight blanket instead.
Location: Enjoyed the walk on the pier and also the beautiful architecture of the cathedrals.
We spent only 1 night but wish we could've stayed longer. We were driving from Tours to Cognac and wanted a look at the ocean. Enjoyed walking around the piers and watching the people who were also watching people.

good value for couples and business travellersPosted Aug 3, 2013
Cons: Slow wifi
Location: Good location
The free wifi was very slow and needs constant logging in. For the price, one would expect a pool. Range of items in buffet breakfast could be better for 12 euro price

Good locationPosted Jun 24, 2013
Pros: Helpfulness of staff
Location: Very handy to town and Gare
Very well located. A short walk from the Port area which got us out of the hustle and bustle. Very handy to the Railway Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful not minding that we had only basic french. Breakfast staff very pleasant. Will definitely stay next time in La Rochelle.

Masqhotel - La RochellePosted Jun 10, 2013
Pros: cleanliness, location & buffet breakfast
Cons: poor wi-fi in the room
Location: within easy walk to the train station & old port
Great hotel - sleek/cool & within easy walk of the old port. Excellent buffet breakfast in the morning for 12 Euros. Only issue was poor wi-fi connection in the room - lobby connection was fine - and this issue was supposed to be fixed. Also - our room safe was broken when we arrived but was repaired the next day. I'd stay there again !!

A hotel no more thanPosted Jun 2, 2013
A shame that there was no restaurant - the information on were to go and eat was better on the second attempt. The room was very hot and the air conditioning did not work.

We had two very bright but cold days in La Rochelle but the hotel was exceptionally comfortable and the staff were absolutely wonderful. The pricing was just about right for this type of hotel. We will use this hotel many times in the future.
