We were traveling down to the south of Spain so this was a two night stop over on New Years Eve and New Years day. We were told there was no food available on arrival so we went to a local Patisserie and got a mixture to eat. On New Years day we asked could we buy some bread and cheese or anything but we were told no and no advice where to get anything. So we had nothing to eat for 24 hours. one staff member on arrival was very nice but other than that it was terrible.

Very friendly staff and helpful. Beds are ok comfort wise. I suggest renting a car as we got stuck walking back from La Rochelle as we couldn’t get an Uber.

Best nights sleep!
Although not an outstanding stay we had the best sleep here of our 10 day trip! The last time we stayed at a Brit hotel in France we said pretty much the same. Best nights sleep of our trip via France to Italy. Not sure why but will definitely chose this hotel group again !

We were allocated a room with a large bathroom for a disabled person as we wanted a groundfloor room and it was the only one available. The bedroom was in consequence a little smaller than others, but still acceptable. We enjoyed having BBC World TV We were surprised to find the restaurant closed for the weekend after Friday lunch. A bistro in Perigny ran by an English woman did a light meal but there is no full restaurant in the vicinity. This did not bother us as we intended to eat in the centre of La Rochelle or out at St Martin de Ré.

The hotel was great for a stop over on our trip. It was disappointing to find the restaurant closed on a Friday evening as we were looking forward to it but the lovely receptionist booked us in a restaurant in the centre which was within walking distance & we had a lovely meal. She even checked we could bring our dog, great service!

Did everything we needed - clean room with air con and that allowed the dog. Short drive to centre of La Rochelle (which is a beautiful city).

Great stop over
Great stop over for one night on our way through France. Close to La Rochelle (10 mins away). Clean and well presented with friendly staff. Good sized family room.

Good transit hotel

Excellent Customer Service for overnight stay
Just stayed for one night. Receptionist was exceptionally helpful. We changed rooms to be at the quieter back of the hotel. Hotel is some distance away from restaurants and so we ate at the hotel restaurant and found it to be good.

Clean comfortable room. Comfy bed. Complimentary water in the room. Friendly staff contributed to us enjoying our stay. A little far out of town, certainly too far to walk. Would stay there again.

good location to town,walk it twice than use are bikes into town at night.Taxi ,well this is are second time we needed a taxi due to good food a the local wine.even ask the local police ,who themself were lost to know where any were,so long walk home to the hotel which again was really good,will book this again next year for the music fest.even though we had a camper van with us.Cheers to all who read this Mike and Terry Abreu

Comfort and accessibility in one
We spent two nights at this hotel, set right on a roundabout just off the main road, so easy to find and yet surprisingly with no road noise. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the seafood specialist restaurant was the perfect answer to our desire to eat locally caught seafood and not have to drive afterwards. The breakfast was especially delicious, so often a disappointment in many hotels. Brilliant!

Great Location
This Hotel was in a great position for us as it was located directly off the main road we needed for the next day. It is handy for La Rochelle itself but the Taxis were very expensive(15 to 18 euros). The receptionist was first rate and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely use the Hotel again.
