self-catering - stayed in 1 bed apartmentPosted Jun 1, 2014
Pros: Location. Cleanliness. Swimming Pool. Safe and secure parking. Bike hire on site for reasonable price.
Cons: Reception opening times - ability to purchase basic provisions, especially after check-in on Sundays.
Location: Very close to La Rochelle and very handy as a base for visiting area. Ile de Re and Marais Poitevin close by. Ideal for keen cyclists.
Stayed for 6 days. Well equipped self-catering accommodation. Plentiful hot water and good shower/bath. Accommodation very clean on arrival and cleaners came in daily to change sheets and towels. Good location, very handy for travel around area. Nice and peaceful setting. However, Reception opening times limited and nearest shops are shut on Sundays so come prepared with basic provisions.

Would go backPosted Aug 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very good size apartment, be careful when booking for four adults that hotels.com don't automatically give you two apartments and charge you for it!! One one bed apartment will comfortably fit 4 adults and a cot bed. Very quiet location on an old chateau grounds, definatly recommend to people looking to be near La Rochelle

Late French get awayPosted Sep 18, 2012 on Hotels.com
Location was a little ou of the way but nothing that a car could not sort out (10 mins to town centre). Room/appartment was great and cleaned every day. Swimming pool was also lovely. Only down side was the parking but that is really nit picking. It might be close to the airport but that never had any effect on our stay

Pleasantly surprisedPosted Jun 18, 2012
Pros: Cleanliness, decor, friendly staff.
Cons: Unexciting location
Location: You can see the airport from the end of the driveway
We booked this as an airport hotel for an early flight out of La Rochelle. We were pleasantly surprised. The apartments are modern blocks in the grounds of a small chateau, which itself is a more upmarket hotel. The apartments are simple, but nicely decorated and very clean. We had a small living room with 2 bedrooms off it, which was ideal for a family. The grounds are nice, and there is a small pool. The location is ideal for the airport but would be a bit in the middle of nowhere for any other purpose.
