“Pleasantly Surprised”

This hotel is done in a European style with a sparse appearance but it was very comfortable. A very nice feature was a flat screen TV on the wall with a convenient connection box for a laptop or portable DVD player. You have to provide a connection cable to the box (component, hdmi , etc.)

“Excellent N Charleston Hotel”

Aloft is a great hotel. The rooms are spartan (not a lot of space for clothes, no drawers) but very comfortable. The lobby has very trendy, modern decor and a full bar. Service was unremarkable, but efficient. The cafe/store was not as overpriced as one would expect and had a great selection of snacks, treats, drinks, etc. The sounds of the airport can be loud at times, but I only noticed the noise a couple times over the few days of my stay, so I wouldn't be concerned about that. I would definitely stay again. When in the elevator, look down at the colorful, interactive flooring. Definitely a fun place to stay.

“My family loves this hotel”

We had a great time at this hotel. Room was very nice and clean. No drawer space, but we managed. The kids loved the pool area and the fitness center was great also. We especially enjoyed the lobby area where my wife and I could have a drink, play pool, and watch the kids while they had ice cream in the snack bar. This hotel was in a good location with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We cant wait to go back and stay again!

I'm a college student with a limited budget and the hotel stay was well worth the price. The cleanliness and courtesy of the hotel and its staff was excellent and helped make the trip very enjoyable. It exceeded my expectations in every way and I would definitely stay there again.

Aloft Hotel was a good choice. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. The hotel had a hip relaxed feel to it. Would stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

ALoft is always, always the best choice in town...And the Charleston location was no exception. The hotels have an incredible modern, 'green' design....It's not your traditional hotel; it's better. Even more, they are pet friendly!

“Good value”

Happily surprised by this hotel. Comfortable room, Euromodern decor with plenty of closet space, nice shower, prompt elevators, complimentary Continental breakfast with juices, granola, croissants, etc., several lounge areas both indoors and outdoors, convenient bar, small pool, ample parking, and easy access to highway. Coffee at hotel wasn't great, but Starbucks and Panera are a block away. Discount malls nearby, 25-minute drive to old city, and 8-minute drive to airport. I was in town for Charleston International Cup soccer tournament and this was a great base of operations. Teammates gathered at the bar at the end of the day before heading downtown for a good meal. Friendly service and extra towels provided on request.

Staying at the Aloft Hotel in Charleston was a very pleasant experience. The staff along with the hotel's ambience created an upbeat yet laidback environment. The modern decor along with the bar and patio made the hotel a great choice for our stay in Charleston. We went for a concert at the North Charleston Colisseum, which is easily within walking distance from the hotel and were able to mingle with other concert-goers at the bar after the concert. What a good time!
