It was all that we expected - stellar service, a beautiful comfortable room and an excellent location. We stayed on the club level and were treated to an amazing array food and drinks throughout the day.

Great service and location!

Pros: Location, Great staff, spa area
Cons: We booked a king room but they only had 2 doubles when we checked in.
Location: Fantastic eating, great sightseeing and shopping all in walking distance. No need for a car!
Classic hotel in the heart of historic Charleston. Everyone was great and having access to the spa area was nice to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I would definitely stay here!

Pros: convenient, great location, friendly and accommodating staff, comfortable rooms, great spa
Cons: the housekeeping wasn't always consistent, one day my sheets were stained and the towels not replenished
Location: Located in historic Charleston blocks away from several restaurants, Charleston Market, the harbor, museums, art galleries, shopping
Wonderful hotel centrally located in downtown Charleston just blocks away from amazing restaurants and shopping. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful, the rooms were clean and quiet, and the Spa offers great services and is very relaxing.

Expensive Hotel on Meeting St...centrally located

Posted Sep 8, 2014
$425 first night. Didn't get room until 5 pm. FYI check in was at 4 pm. Room spacious. Could hear casual conversation thru walls. Overall, think better value at multiple other locations

Not worth it!!

The hotel is beautiful but the room is no different than any flea bag room in Charleston. Soooo not worth the money.

Centrally located. Staff were most helpful in making our stay wonderful. The food in tithe hotel restaurants was delicious.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Posted Sep 2, 2014
My recent stay at Charleston Place has been by far THE WORST hotel experience I have ever had! Rude Staff that is unwilling to assist! Late check in kept us waiting for hours! Broken air conditioner! No assistance!!!

How to make your wife happy

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Just about everything
Cons: The king size mattress we had was hard as a rock I suggest changing to Maroitt or Weston tpye mattresses
Location: Walk right out of your hotel and you're in the historic district of Charleston where you can take a carriage or walking tour, shop or eat
This hotel's service is beyond compare everyone we met was hospitable, knowledgeable and friendly The ambiance, food, jazz, and service at the restarant were incredible
