“Small rooms but convenient location”

Small rooms, no fridge or microwave in rooms but easy location to Mt. Pleasant area and downtown Charelston.

“dirty room”

soda can and two childrens toys left behind does not qualify as a clean room. i checked in after 5pm and the hotel was more than half empty. no excuse for not cleaning up properly. tub under no-slip mat never been cleaned (or so it would appear).

“Good Pick”

Please with location and surrounding area. Only comment was housekeeping staff was too noisy at 0900 outside of room. My room was near the elevator and service area. Had I not been checking out that morning, I would have been extremely unhappy. Overall, it was a nice short stay.

Area recommendations
Patroit's Point because it is away from the hustle of the city and quaint.

“convenient”

The location was great for us, near a wedding and reception in Mount Pleasant and easy access to and from downtown Charleston. Front desk staff were helpful on two occasions.

“The pillows are uncomfortable”

I've been in BW before but only this time I found the pillows making my neck hurt... But the stay is still good and I really appreciate the quiet neighborhood.

“Staff was very friendly but...”

The staff was very friendly especially Keith who helped me a great deal. However, the bathroom vanity was so small we could not leave our toiletries out during a three day stay, it always had to be repacked to make room for my spouse. The room was small and when we added the mini fridge for convenience, it became crowded to move around the room. The beds were OK, nothing special and the small square pillows for sleeping left some to be desired. The hotel was a distance from both the Charleston Historical area and the beach so we found ourselves spending a great deal of time in the car driving to locations we wanted to see.

“Will definitely stay again!”

The hotel was very nice and the staff was friendly. The room was beautiful and the bed was absolutely comfortable and the price was great for the comfortable setting. We visited famly and this hotel was perfectly located. It was within minutes of many great restaurants, the local beach and shopping...and only 45 minutes or so from Myrtle Beach. It's located just off the main road, but tucked back just far enough so that we were not disturbed by traffic or bright lights...and we were in a first floor room! We will definitely stay again!
