Great Hotel for the costPosted Apr 12, 2014
Cons: the location and proximity to downtown was my only issue . However , if it were closer , the expense would be twice as much.
very good value. Nice room ,great staff . The location is a not too close to either the airport or city but ,all things considered, the extra miles out ( if you have a car ) is of no consequence .

Close to the airport - perfect stop.Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: The staff.
Location: Cracker Barrel and McDonald's nearby. Also several gas stations to fill up before returning a car!
It is near the airport but not too close to hear the air traffic. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and had a microwave and refrigerator. Traditional continental breakfast.

Airport Shuttle policyPosted Apr 8, 2014
I booked this hotel because it said it had a free airport shuttle. I was working at the airport during my stay. I had no problem getting the shuttle each day to and from the airport. On the night before I departed, I requested the shuttle for the following morning. I was told to verify with the morning staff. When I did, I was told my shuttle had been cancelled because their policy was for only ONE ROUND TRIP. The web site does not say anything about this round trip "policy". After phone calls to the GM, they called in the driver. Of course he was not pleased. On the way to the airport, he gets in a wreck at a stop light. I had to get to the airport, so I grabbed my baggage (lucky it was on wheels) and walked the rest of the way to the airport (2 miles+)

next to highway for easy travel accessPosted Apr 3, 2014
Pros: located on us 26. 20 minutes to downtown. lots of lighting in parking lot and appeared to be a very secure area.
Cons: see above notes of experience
Location: lots of food and shopping around , traffic is crazy and lights are long, to much idle time in car at lights.
Rooms in center of second floor noisy because of the utility room on first floor. I changed my room because I couldn't sleep. Very inconvient but staff tried to accommodate as best as possible, which was on the second day of my stay that I got a new room. Monday morning the breakfast was not complete, as apparently they ran out of several key food items, including eggs. Lost some value here as I went out for breakfast.

Not bad for the pricePosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds. Clean rooms. Hidden on the back of one of the busiest streets I have been.
Location: Short drive to Charleston and Mt pleasant. Close to everthing
Hotel staff was friendly upon check in. However, our room keys were coded incorrectly and had to go back to the lobby. The fridge was not working. The next day we left the room around 11am and came back around 9pm just to find out our room was not cleaned. We called the front desk and they asked us to come down for towels and trash bags. Not expected....

Not one of the better hotels.Posted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: Easy access to interstate and restaurants.
Placement of hotel is too close to traffic, get a lot of noise all day and night including sirens. The breakfast was very limited...even ran out of eggs an hour after breakfast started. Can hear people above your room walking in their room all the time.

Weekend get awayPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: indoor heated swimming pool.
Cons: I cannot think of anything
Location: Northwood mall is across the street and a large varity of resturants. Close to downtown Charleston, the Aquarium and the Airport.
I have stayed here before, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They have beautiful rooms, love the comfort of the beds. Large bathrooms not little itty bitty boxes you can actually move around in these. Close to things to do in Charleston. The breakfast bar is great hot waffles you make yourself, scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuit and gravy, cereal, milk, coffee, juice if you walk away hungry it is your own fault. Nice place to stay for a night or a week.

One night stayPosted Mar 7, 2014
Pros: Close to interstate, close to places to eat, room was normal for the price. Hotel looks new. No Smoking!
Cons: Overhead of the shower had paint already chipping away from moisture building up from shower use. Need to keep up with maintenance on a new place.
Location: Outlet is just down the road. Close to a mall and places to eat. Close to interstate.
The hotel is close to the interstate. Places to eat within a short distance of the hotel. Not a bad place to stay for one or two nights. The rate was fair for the room at $80.00 for the night. Did not eat breakfast so I have no idea what its like at the hotel. Planes fly overhead and can make noise.
