Hotel near it all.

Pros: The kitchen, the bed, and the cleanliness.
Cons: Maybe figure out the smell in the a/c and add some more firmer pillows to the bed.
Location: it was about 10 minutes or so from the historic area, and 15 or less from the USS yorktown. and literally right next to the mall
Hotel price was pretty good, was worried on condition with the mixed reviews. The hotel was very clean and orderly. Walked into the room and it was clean, it did have a SLIGHT smell but it wasn't an issue. It included a kitchen was clean and nice. The bed was comfy, but the only downside was it was a small hotel room and the pillows were not firm enough for me. But seeing as we were out of the hotel most of the days it didn't matter much.

The hotel room was very comfortable and the suite had all the appliances we needed. But, when we checked in, we noticed the shower curtain rod was ripped out of the wall and just balancing on the top of the tub. We contacted the front desk right away and asked to have it fixed. we stayed 5 days and it never got repaired. We had to mickey mouse the rod to be able to shower. Also, Saturday night we noticed the air conditioner was not working. We asked to have it looked at and we were informed that there wasn't anybody available to look at it. we asked for another room and was informed the hotel was booked full. We went back to the front desk to ask for fans and the 3rd shift desk hostess new how to fix it and did so. When we asked the 2nd shift desk hostess to fix it, she didn't know what to do. we were offered compensation for our troubles and never received any.

The hotel was clean and quiet. My only gripe is that they do not have continental breakfast. However, they do have a store where you can buy food.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I wanted to find a place that was nice and convenient drive to downtown without paying a bucket-load. It was well-kept but not very close to downtown. Overall I would stay here again, but they need to fix that pothole in the middle of their parking lot.

THE ROOM WAS GREAT JUST HAD TO USE AIR FRESHNER BEING THAT I WAS IN A SMOKING ROOM AND I DON'T SMOKE.
