“Thanksgiving in Charleston”

My wife decided to vacation in Charleston, SC for Thanksgiving week and we were able to find a good deal for the Charleston Harbor Resort. We were very satisfied with the hotel and staff. Hotel was clean, quiet, and offered great views. It was fun watching the Dolphins "lead" the freighters out of the harbor from our balcony. We were within walking distance to the USS Yorktown military museum, (Which we recommend highly!), and the resort had a shuttle that was available to go to downton Charleston. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was beautifully situated and convenient to downtown as free shuttle service was provided. The room was a gem: in-wall big screen flat tv, electric fireplace, nicely furnished; spa bathtub. A very good value.

“Charleston Beach Getaway”

We absolutely loved not only the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina, but also the city of Charleston and all the people. They all displayed the true meaning of southern hospitality and we cannot wait to return. Our time at the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina and in Charleston in general, was a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC life (even though we do adore NYC, we have a newfound love for the south). The hotel and staff were charming. The pool and beach were relaxing and refreshing. The rooms were exactly what we could have hoped for. We will be returning for sure and cannot wait!

“New favorite for Charleston”

Excellent stay at Charleston Harbor Resort. Checked-in on Friday evening and was upgraded to a pool view room at no extra charge. The hotel was having a Sunset Shag party on the beach with a live band, food and drinks - great way to start the holiday weekend. The rooms were nice (nautical themed), but bed linens seemed a little worn. The hotel offered a lot of activiies with a great beachside pool with food and drink service, "beach" on the harbor and great access to downtown Charleston and the beaches. We ate at the Reef Bar for lunch one afternoon and the food was very good. The bar livened up a bit at night and seemed to be a fun place to hang out. The beach area also has fire pits which were used nightly by groups of folks hanging out and having cocktails. Certainly seemed to be an enjoyable stay for everyone.

Loved the location, warm friendly staff, rooms were clean, and beds comfortable, easy ride to downtown, not many options to dine in for vegetarians, but surely a neat place to come back to!!!

“Best Value in Charleston”

The Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina was an enjoyable place to stay. The staff was attentive and helpful. The shuttle takes you downtown and drops you on Market St. We used the shuttle each day for travel and found it to be perfect for our needs. The room was immaculate and the air conditioing worked well. We ate lunch at the bar upon arrival and the food was great. We will stay here during our next visit!

“Nice water taxi”

Enjoyed the water taxi ride to historic Charleston and back to hotel. The boat docks quite a ways from the tourist area. Be prepared to walk.

Comfortable room with great king sized bed. Walking around the marina was very nice with harbor views. Use of the trolley into downtown was a plus.

“Relaxing Stay”

Wonderful trip. Went for a postponed honeymoon. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The shuttle back and forth to Charleston is a definite plus. Our only issue was that the room was always either too hot or cold, but would go back today if I could!!
