Great Hotel and Great Staff..... Excellent

Pros: Cleanliness, Staff and the extra perks listed above.
Cons: I was 100% satisfied......
Location: the location from the historic center of Charleston was a bit of a hike but the shuttle more than made up for that. . .
Extremely clean hotel and the Staff was wonderful. Troy, who drove the shuttle bus was outstanding!!! Nice amenities such as hot food in the evening and hot breakfast in the morning were unexpected treats. I would highly recommend this Marriott to anyone.

Okay hotel.

This hotel did not meet the Marriott standard because it appeared to be a bit dated. The room was small for two people with not enough sitting area. The bathroom had a shower with no tub. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would probably select a nicer hotel next time we are in Charleston.

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Loved the outdoor space tables, firepits.
Cons: Wish it was a little closer to downtown Charleston.
Location: Just a short drive to downtown.
Spent the weeeknd here with a friend everything was very nice. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

Pros: Good restuarant and work out facility. Not in downtown walking district, but convenient, and a 10.00 cab ride from downtown.
I would stay there again. Restuarant in hotel is good and there is a Starbucks for your morning coffee. Great workout room, and a beautiful courtyard.

Expected more...

Was recently in Charleston for a wedding and stayed at this property. The staff was very pleasant and professional. However, there was apparently a leak of some sort by my window and the carpet was soaking. Also, they're under construction/renovations presently and loud hammering and other construction noises began at about 9:30 each morning. Front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. Lastly, while the common areas were lovely, rooms were old and tired appearing. Bathrooms haven't been updated in a VERY long time, and it shows. There are may lovely hotels in the Charleston area, I'd recommend looking at another property.

We are in process of refreshing all our guestrooms and then will move to the lobby , elevators , restaurant and meeting spaces - as business permits. Disappointing stay

Hotel did not have our reservation. Expedia called and straightened out. When we got to the room it was not cleaned properly (there were black stains all over the toilet), but we were told it was the last room available. There was no place to put toiletries except on top of the toilet and a 10 x 10 table under a pedestal sink. There was no way to close the toilet so we were in danger of losing our toiletries. When we notified the hotel desk in the morning their only response was you should have asked for a different room.

I would like you to know that our hotel was full, and it seems there was some confusion regarding the reservations. The only room we had available was a handicap/accessible room, which has a modified bathroom for wheelchair accessibility. We would have been happy to move you to another room, but that was the only room which wasn't occupied. We had a large group that arrived earlier in the week and stayed through weekend. I would really appreciate you giving us another opportunity and if you do return to the Charleston area, please do let my office know so I can oversee your reservation details. It was a nice facility. One complaint

Pros: Room and bathroom facilities.
Cons: A new mattress in the room we had.
Location: Quite good.
It was a nice stay. Complaints; The mattress closest to the window was crushed down on the side toward the night stand making for less-than-comfortable sleep. The television had limited maximum control volume We had difficulty hearing the programs.

To Only here for 8 hours but a great hotel in good location. Good facilities and comfortable rooms. I wish we could have stayed longer.
