“Charmed by Charleston”

It was our first time in Charleston, and staying at the Charleston Place made our visit there perfect. We were upgraded to Club status, and I must say that we were delighted with this experience. In addition, our room was top-notch, and the service was excellent. While there, we ate at both the Charleston Grill and The Palmetto Cafe and were very pleased each time.

“Incredible stay!”

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Charleston Place. It was our first time to Charleston as well as our first time away from our twin girls. We were able to explore the city within steps of the hotel. The concierge level rooms are a must...the staff is very attentive and pleasant. The food and beverages served throughout the day were above your average concierge level services we've had at other upscale hotels. There is shopping within the hotel and an amazing fine dining restaurant with live jazz during the weekend. Overall, our stay was entertaining (live music), educational (historical walking tour) and relaxing (don't forget to check out the spa...I had a great massage).

“Centrally located hotel”

Charleston Place Hotel is in walking distance to all of the main attractions, restaurants, and night life. You really don't need to rent a car. When you enter the hotel lobby, you know that you have made the right decision in your choice of hotels. It is very impressive. This is only matched by the hotel staff. Everyone was friendly and very professional. I highly recommend the restaurants located in the hotel. It is not cheap, but is worth it. I would give the service, ambiance, and food a five star rating. My only criticism is the fact that we could clearly hear the conversations of people coming from outside our room.

GREAT HOTEL! An incredible Charleston experience! My wife and I were married 14 years ago (as of June 20th) on the battery (the Grand Stand at White Point Gardens), and we have always loved Charleston...and the Charleston Place Hotel is the BEST!

Very nice place to stay. Breakfast buffet and Charleston Grill were wonderful.

“Charleston Place Hotel is wonderful!!!”

My husband and I have been to Charleston several times. We have stayed at the Charleston Place Hotel a few times, every time we stay it is a great experience. The hotel is in a great location, right in front of the open market, the staff were excellent and very friendly. We stayed on the club floor and it was very nice, the daily refreshments and beverages were really nice after a long day out in the city. We are planning another trip to Charleston in a few months and plan to stay at the Charleston Place Hotel.

“Great Charleston Location”

The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff. We loved that they cleaned or straightened up our room several times a day.

“nice hotel but wouldn't give us king bed.........”

Only problem was that I asked for a king bed through Expedia and the hotel did not honor that. Most disappointing...................

“Luxury Hotel in the heart of old Charleston”

It is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of old Charleston. We had a great room and within walking distance of the battery, south of broad, market place and all the old town attractions. We had a great stay just wish we would have had time to stay longer
