“Excellent Hotel in Historic District”

The staff was very friendly and the room was in good condition and well-appointed. The hotel had a pleasant courtyard and was close to area restaurants and shops.

“"Fantastic Christmas Get-A-Way"”

Let me start by saying the hotel staff is amazing!!! My wife and I had such a great time last year we decided to come back again this year. We planned our trip around the Christmas activities happening in Charleston , like the Parade of Boats and the Christmas Parade. We also rode the new Thriller ride and it was great. Cold, but great!! The staff here is very helpful with directions or to help you plan activities. This is a very quite, peaceful and relaxing place to stay with all the comforts of home. We loved the flat screen TV's, granite countertops and plush bedding. There are plenty of restaurants close by and you are only steps away from the market. Can't wait till next year. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay.

“Best Location, Comfortable Rooms, Decent Prices”

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Church Street Inn. The location is the best, located right in the heart of downtown Charleston. Parking is difficult in Carleston, but you can walk to so many places from this location. The rooms are nice with an up and down stairs arrangement. The have a nice sized "living room" with sofa, chairs, TV, etc, and a small kitchen. Some even have small dinning area as well. The staff is very friendly. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is clean, comfortable, and you could not do better for location. Our son attended the Citadel, so we went to visit him before, and he graduated this last May. The hotel is about 12min drive to The Citadel, and about 2-12 min walk to anywhere else in town you may want to go.

“Excellent Location and value”

The hotel could not be any more central to the downtown historic district in Charleston. Hotel staff was accomodating. Suites were clean and comfortable, and had everything necessary for a short stay, but a little worn around the edges. Renovations are probably in order, but then the price would not likely be at the current bargain rate. I plan to stay there whenever in town.

“Great location, and a balcony over the market”

I was travelling alone on business, but I'd definitely take my family back here. Price was great (out of season, of course), and it had lots of room on two floors, with kitchenette and 1.5 baths. Terrific location, overlooking the market, with a small balcony.

“Best Hotel in Charleston!”

My husband and I visit Charleston annually and have stayed in many places. Most, unfortunately never really met are expectations. Well I'm happy to say The Church Street Inn ot only met them, but exceeded our expectations by leaps and bounds! The service was excellent. Chuck helped with the reservation and was so helpful once we arrived. Everyone day he greeted us with a smile and offered any assistance he could--he really went above and beyond. The room was fantastic! We had a balcony overlooking the market--the best view in Charleston. Everything was clean and new. The staff made sure we had everything we needed. It was a terrific vacation and we plan to return year after year. Believe me, this is where you want to stay when you go to Charleston! Nothing else compares.

This was right in downtown Charleston. The staff was very helpful when we had questions as to where to have breakfast, etc. The room was pleasant and spacious for two though we overlooked an alley with loud music from several bars which went in into the night. we would stay there again.

We had a wonderful weekend. The location of this property can not be any better. We were given a room that was just remodeled and it was absolutely beautiful. We will definately consider returning to this property again.
