“Nice place to stay”

The hotel is on renovation, but you don't see it, unless you want to use the pool. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you go by car you can be in Charleston downtown in a few minutes. The hot breakfast was good, it's a standard, but at least fresh and warm.

The only drawback was that this general region is very close the flight path of some noisy aircraft, but any hotel in this area would have the same drawback.

We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of our room and the quality of the bed linens. A good choice when in the Charleston area.

“Great Price, Great Location”

This hotel was extremely clean and super close to the interstate to take you to downtown Charleston about 5 mins away. I would definitely stay here again. I was extremely pleased with how clean and nice it was and really felt it was a great deal for the price!

“Great Room for the Price”

I stayed one night and had two king size bed rooms. I was a little leary of the neighborhood as we arrived by motorcycle and was concerned about securing my bike. The front desk clerk said to leave the bikes next to the curb at the front door and someone would look after them 24/7. The pillowtop beds were very comfortable and we had no issues at all. It took us 6 minutes to get to historic downtown on I-26. The front desk gave us a couple of eating places for seafood and that is where we ate. Overall, a 4 star hotel stay with no negatives.

“Loved our stay”

My sister & I took our 80 yr old Mother to Charleston for vacation and we were all very pleased with this motel and it is hard to impress our Mother. The room was very clean, we had plenty of towels and the pillow top mattress was just what we needed after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast was far beyond expectations. I agree with the other reviewers about the neighborhood. It is a bit rundown but appeared safe. It didn't bother us since we were pretty tired by the time we returned in the evening and we never left our room. We are planning a return trip next spring and will be staying here again.

Overall a great stay. Only a 5 minute drive to downtown.
