Nice clean hotel with friendly staff!

Check in took less than 5 minutes. Room was neat, clean, and updated. Beds and pillows were soft, towels were fluffy. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they made us feel very warm and welcome! Breakfast was good. This hotel has a nice central location to all major attractions. Every afternoon we returned to a clean great smelling room, with fresh clean towels and all amenities. We will definitely stay here again!

Pros: Location. It is right where you can get to Charleston quickly or out to the islands in a short amount of time.
Cons: Facelift for the rooms and the hotel. t looks old.
Location: Charleston is 2.5 miles away. Great food! Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms are close. Patriots point is within walking distance.
We were in town for the Cooper River Bridge run. We were late signing up and we needed a hotel that was pet friendly. The hotel was clean but the building is old. The toilet in our first room leaked and then clogged. I give credit to the hotel staff for moving us as soon as the realized the problem. Overall, I have nothing to complain about. THe hotel could use some work, but it did what we needed it to do, give us a place to sleep for the weekend.

Only for out of town workers!

Booked this room for a one night stay. Only exterior opening rooms, and outside of several rooms on both floors were groups of workers drinking, hovering around the windows of other rooms etc. I returned to the office for a refund only to be told by the night manager that this is a typical night. Decided to stay, but never felt safe.

Pros: The location
Cons: Larger breakfast area
The hotel doesn't look the nicest from the outside, but the recent renovation made the inside of the rooms very aesthetically pleasing. The dining room is tight quarters, but the location of the hotel and rate are worth it.

This hotel was close to everything we wanted to see in Charleston. It was quiet and in a good area. It was very nice for the price. We booked it because of its location and the price.

Not a nice place to stay

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness, update, staff friendliness and helpfulness
Location: Charleston is great and there are a lot of other hotels in this area to choose from.
Hotel was a bit dirty and the staff was adequate but not very friendly. We had wind coming through our door all day and night and had to stick a towel under it to get any sleep. The entire hotel was run down and our room was dirty. I would not recommend this to anyone. After checking in and signing everything we were told there was no hot water for the evening and that it would be fixed in the morning. No apology or anything. Not very professional at all.
