Welcomed at the door. Clean. Decent continental breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, fruit, yogurt. Nice staff. 15 min from Downtown Charleston

It was a great room. Especially for the relatively low cost.

A 5 day stay for business and pleasurePosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: They had nice size rooms and breakfast was free
Cons: It is nice for comfort inn
Location: It is not really close to anything but Charleston has many wonderful things to see
This hotel wasn't bad. The room was nice and clean. It's not really very close to any of the tourist attractions though. The air-conditioner is very loud cuts on and off all night long which woke me up.

Excellent staff nice accommodationsPosted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: The bed was amazing...having just driven 500 miles it was welcome.
Cons: Parking is not good. Do not be there late!
Location: Ten quick minutes from downtown Charlestown.
It was a pleasant experience. The gal at the desk was overwhelmed as the hotel was over booked by 1 room. She looked at my reservation and saw that I had made it to months prior and assured me there would be no issue. 10 minutes later we were putting our 9 year old to bed. Very very good customer service!!! So was not expecting the level breakfast provided. These ladies were on it and everything was fresh and tasted good. The waffle maker was the highlight for my daughter.

The facility was new and clean.Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: Rooms and cleanliness
Cons: It seems the hotel may need to hire more personnel for their front desk and cleaning department especially for weekends.
Location: We found a Vegan restaurant close by Black Bean Co. it was great!! We visited Charles Towne Landing for a wedding, it was beautiful!
Our check in experience was awful. We arrived at 2:50, thinking we could check in 10 minutes early. Nope, check in doesn't begin until 3:00. We grabbed a bite to eat and called to see if our room had a refridgerator, we were placed on hold for 10 minutes then disconnected. When we returned to check in around 3:35 there were about 15 people sprawled around the lounge area waiting for a room and one lady working at the desk, she was obviously stressed and overwhelmed which made the situation worse. Apparently the rooms were not ready. We waited for another 30 minutes. Once we checked in, however, we were pleased with the room itself, it was clean and comfortable.

Be ready for extra fees.Posted May 22, 2014
Cons: More parking!!
Location: It's Charleston!! You can't swing a cat without hitting something interesting!
All was very well. Staff very friendly. Especially the breakfast hostess. The only negative is we had to pay an extra $15 at check in for something I did not understand.

A real gem in Charleston!Posted May 14, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, nice rooms.
My friend and I were there for 5 nights in May 2014. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, including providing maps to the plantations and other sights we visited. The hotel was a little hard to find, coming from the airport in the dark -- it's tucked back in trees right next to freeway on- and off-ramps -- but turned out to be a convenient location, with a Costco for cheap gas just a couple blocks away. The free breakfast was great too, with scrambled eggs, waffles and biscuits and gravy. The only caveat about the hotel is it's about 10 miles from downtown, but then the nightly rate is much cheaper than staying close in. I would stay there again if I ever get back to Charleston!
