Nice hotel close to everything

Hotel staff was great they let me check in early since we got there early and had to change for a wedding....room was very clean and nice.....bed was very comfortable...bathroom was spotless....breakfast was super good.....I would defintely stay here again

Room was not ready

Pros: Queen beds were comfortable. We like to stay at hotels with continental breakfast.
Cons: Rooms need more electrical outlets outside the bathrooms. Loud air conditioner woke us up, and did not cool both sides of the room equally.
Location: It was a 20-30 minute drive from downtown Charleston and beaches. Would like to have been closer.
When we arrived, our room had not been cleaned. We were put in another room with different bedding arrangements than we had reserved. We had no choice but to stay there the first night. The 2nd day we had to pack up all our belongings and move to another room that was like the one we had reserved. Staff was very nice through all of this, but our first night was uncomfortable because of the sleeping arrangement.

Good one night stay.

Pros: This Hotel was very ho-hum.
Cons: It is very lifeless. It needs some minor renovation. New carpet, curtains and bedding would give this hotel the life it needs.
Location: This hotel was a 15-20 drive from Fort Sumter. We also visited the beach, which was a lovely way to spend the evening.
This was just a one night stay, but sleep is very important on vacation. I just could not get comfortable here. I had to make up my sleep on the road while my husband drove. He had a great night's sleep. The bed was pretty nice though. The breakfast was OK. There were eggs but no other meat. I am gluten intolerant, so this limited my choices more than I like. The room also smelled like hamster bedding. There is nothing memorable about it.

Good hotel for the money

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights recently for my daughters national finals for dance. The hotel is a nice, quaint place to stay for this price range. The rooms are not huge, but my family of 4 got along just fine! It was clean, and safe. The pool was nice and well maintained. What really blew me away was the breakfast. It wasn't your average hotel cereal and stale donuts! Each day had pancakes, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausages, ect. It was great! It was important that we chose a hotel with complimentary breakfast so my family of 4 didn't have to eat out every morning. It was a huge money saver! I would for sure stay here again!

In town for wedding

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Were there for wedding.
Hotel was a very welcome surprise. It was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was much more extensive that we had anticipated. All around very relaxing and good surroundings. Would stay there again and would recommend.

Greater than expected!

Joanne was so amazing! She made the entire trip so warming & welcoming. Check in/check out was quick and easy. The complimentary breakfast was fully stocked and much more than we thought it would be. Our room was very clean and the beds were so comfy, we hardly wanted to leave. Great stay and not a bad drive to downtown.
