11/21-11/23 confirmed reservPosted Nov 30, 2013
Stayed 2 nights despite expedia reservations from desk couldn't locate confirmation. Worst customer service of the area. No coffee avail except during early mornings . For this hotel name and rate a mere breakfast should of been included. Poor concierge service never AVAIL as the rest of my stay was insignificant as the uncomfortable springs that pounced on my back.

Good central locationPosted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: I liked the location, the comfortable bedding, the staff was great.
Cons: Housekeeping could have been a little better.
Location: The cruise ship terminal is in walking distance. There is lots of shopping, dining, and lovely historical buildings in walking distance.
The staff at check in were great. They offered me a map and practical ideas how to spend one evening in town. The room was spacious and comfortable, but not completely clean. The lock on the door was tampered with I only discovered this because I am very careful about safety. Hotel staff fixed the problem quickly. But I still felt funny about it. After check out my bags were stored for me and transport to airport was arranged for me. Very nice, made my day much easier. Overall good stay.

Great Hotel in Great LocationPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great hotel, very close to the downtown, historical Charleston. The room was very comfortable, very clean, and the bed was quite comfy. There is a little refrigerator in the room which is always a great amenity. I would definitely stay here again. Great for a family, couple or a getaway with friends.

Close to Aquarium and market streetPosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was very nice, clean and great bed and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Parking was easy too. The walk to Market street and carriage rides was not bad at all...

Good LocationPosted Aug 28, 2013
Cons: Could use some updating.
Location: Within walking distance of everything.
Hotel was just okay. Our air conditioning unit didn't work but they were very prompt in replacing it. Room had a dampness to it but that was probably a result of the AC unit. It was a good stay for one night in a good location to the historical district.

Great LocationPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
THis hotel was very nice and it was in a good location. It is a block from King street with lots of shops and dinning places. It was a nice walk to the market and the pool was a nice treat too.

Why stay any place else?Posted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is our third stay at The Courtyard and each stay has been better than the last. First of all, it appears that the hotel did some 'buffing up' since our last stay--all the rough edges are smoothed out and the hotel gleams. Second of all, this hotel is in a great location for seeing Charleston--just park your car and walk anywhere on the peninsula. The service is friendly and not overbearing. AS ALWAYS, Kevin the concierge did not disappoint--directing us to the best restaurants. He is a HUGE benefit to this hotel.

good location.Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: I liked the location, Kevin McQuade, and the rest of the staff
Cons: Exit stairs were a bit awkwardly located and I would like to see breakfast hours extended to 10:30.
Location: The Charleston museum is nearby as are the restaurants and shops on Meeting St
My daughter and I were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and the historic district. Kevin, the concierge was extremely helpful in giving us great directions and recommendations, even for rainy weather.
