Nice but Expedia messed up reservation

Posted May 17, 2015
Got to the hotel and Expedia hadn't related the reservation to the hotel so we almost didn't have a room and they considered charging me again even though I'd prepaid through Expedia. Very annoying.

Worst Hotel Ever…..Do not ever stay here

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Not a thing it was the worst hotel ever
Cons: Everything!!
I arrived late due to a delayed flight…they gave away my room then gave me a dirty room bed slept in, dirty wet towels all over bathroom, soda cans everywhere and claimed they didn't have to honor anything because it was booked through expedia. The staff was rude and wasn't helpful at all didn't even offer me a clean sheet or towel. Worst Worst Worst Experience Ever.

The facility is showing it's age.

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Facility needs updating.
Location: The road outside the facility leads directly into Charleston sights.
After staying at other Expedia recommended facilities, we were surprised to find this motel, not as nice as the others. It is showing it!s age and could definitely use some updating.

Bad Day at Creekside

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Setting was pretty nice, creek, small pier, marsh grasses.
Cons: See first comments. A major upgrading is necessary to bring this place in line with other nearby motels.
Location: This was at the edge of the city but fairly close to my need for being there.
This older motel is in great need of upgrading, painting, and repair. Blankets were stained, one with hole in it. Door broken, A/C Front fell off `, reported, but not fixed. Furniture was shabby, torn, and dirty/stained. Bath amenities were sparse-2 small soaps and towels were dirty then replaced. Light bulbs were filthy with animal hair stuck on them. No stoppers in tub or sink. Hard to believe anyone would be sent to this place. Unfortunately no other hotels/motels had vacancies. The big kicker was the plunger beside to toilet, ready to use. I have photos of most egregious problems

The tile had been mopped but looked like with muddy water, it showed every footprint as we moved around. At least one blind was broken on each window. There was no fixture on the ceiling light, just two bare bulbs and the smoke detector was scotch taped to the ceiling. When we turned the water on in the tub for showers it came out brown for a few seconds. The furniture was battered we could here the TV from the adjoining room almost as well as ours. The lobby and grounds were deceiving, kept much better than the room.

On a busy hiway.

Posted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Booked this motel through Expedia approximately two weeks before our trip and was charged within a day or two. On checking in I was informed that they had no record of our reservation even though I provided a confirmation number. I presented my VISA card as is the norm. On our return home I saw my charge card had been charged once by Expedia ($214) then again by this motel ($255).

Pros: The bath towels were very soft & big
Cons: I had forgotten my shower cap They should of had one there
We enjoyed our say very much The front office was very helpful to answer questions we had about finding our way around a strange city. Even took the time to program where we were going on my GPS
