“One night visit.”

Motel room was clean and bed was comfortable but facility needs some overdue maintenance. Price was fair for what you get. Location to airport was convenient. Staff very courteous. Breakfast was good.

“Would Rather Sleep in My Car Next Time”

I love Charleston and this review is no reflection of the city. When I went to get my room key, I had to wait in the freezing cold for ten minutes for her to run my card and give me my key. The room had a few roaches... shower had dirty wash clothes on shower curtain. Front desk called me up and stated that I had three people in my room when their were only two and tried to charge me extra. The hotel owner was. a rude man of Pakistanian descent who had no hint of southern hospitality. I was very offended by the way he spoke to me. The maids were laughing loudly and cackling like crows during the early morning hours. The continental breakfast consisted of old toasts and what smelled like old eggs and sausages.

Area recommendations
The area is fine... many fine establishments in the area, some beautiful hotels and wonderful eating establishments. The shopping center nearby is very eclectic.

“some issues but not alot”

I had a problem getting in the hotel from the start. when i arrived at night, due to the long drive, I had already had reservations. I went to what i thought was the entrance to the check in area and it was locked, inside were 4 people who all looked back at me several times and just stood there. I stayed there waiting for 5 minutes before calling hte office, finding out I WAS in the the right area and she just said wait till I finish with these people before I let you in. It was cold outside.... otherwise there were cracks in the wall and stains on the floor, the internet connection was slow. but the location in comparison to the rest of the area and events was great, that is the only thing that they had going for them

“Will choose a different hotel on next trip to this area”

Heat did not work well. Had to double covers from other bed to stay warm. Fan in bath was extremely noisy.

“Great hotel for cheap”

They worked with me the whole time and when I needed an extra bed they gave me a new room at no extra charge.

“nice”

Our stay was fine. They helped when I needed to change my reservations because my husband got called into work when we were supposed to leave. The front desk clerks were nice. We would stay in this hotel again if needed to.

“Visitnf Family on a budget”

very helpfull to have mini fridge and microwave in room as I don't ike to eat out alone . Over all experience was good, great southern hospitality

Area recommendations
Downtown Charleston has lovely heritage and historic building to visit and of course the famous Horse carriage rida

“Average”

I didn't pay for a 5 star hotel, I just needed a room for a couple of nights and that is what I got. The hotel although it could use some repair wasn't nearly as bad as what I thought it would be from reading other reviews.
