This place left me wanting to go to a decontamination center. The door to the closet had painted 2x4 and raw edged drywall instead of a door or case opening. The room didn’t even have towels in it. The place was half empty judging by the parking lot but we were stuck in a smoking room. Who even has smoking rooms anymore?

Room was terrible, smelling so bad of cigaret and by de door has a blood marks what looks like some homicide happened in there, no kidding, for a $145,00 night it's horrible, but the front desk staff were actually pretty friendly.

Really didn’t like the way the front desk staff treated us upon check in. Thank god we brought things to clean out shower because it seemed as if it never was. Toilet paper wasn’t even changed out from the previous residents. Front desk staff was also less than accommodating whenever informed about issues.

Was convenient. That was all. Clerk at check was not helpful. No coffee pot in room & were not told coffe was available in lobby. Was not informed of renovations ongoing UNTILL after nonrefundable reservation was made. Will not use facility again. There are others to be found not far away that will meet needs. Advise others to avoid this facility also.

Comfy room. Hospitality needs improvement
The room was clean and comfortable. However, check in took longer than necessary. Because the motel was being renovated, the office was closed and we had to register through the window. The clerk had to walk from her desk to the window several times during the check in process. The credit card machine was slow as well. Our hair dryer in the room did not work. The clerk said she would tell someone, but no one came to fix or replace it. I was going to a wedding and would have like to blow dry my hair, but had to manage without a dryer.

Unsafe
When we arrived to check in at 10pm, the woman had locked the door to the lobby. Outside was a very inebriated man who was attempting to check in. The woman wouldn’t unlock the door (I imagine because she was thinking of her own safety) and after waiting for 15 mins we just didn’t feel comfortable staying. We knew the reservation was non-refundable but didn’t feel like it was worth risking safety to stay so we left and stayed somewhere else.

We didn’t even stay the night. This is a hotel, rather a motel and not a nice one. It was unclean and unsafe. Despite being non-refundable, we cut out losses and stayed elsewhere.

Was a good stay…not overly expensive…no hoodlums on the premises…working people passing through…I moved to the Extended Stay nearby to save a few bucks..probably a mistake…definitely stay away from the Red Roof bad news expensive lots of drug activity…no problem at the Days Inn would stay there again

First, I had to talk with the desk clerk through bullet proof glass. There was no entrance into the building. The canopy outside was damaged. There were people hanging out in the parking lot. We are elderly and we did not feel safe. The room entry was from the outside. There were no amenities.

Norman Bates wouldn't stay here!
Don't stay here. The included breakfast was handed to you in a bag with a granola bar, and a fruit cup, and a Hostess coffee cake. We had an ironing board but no iron. Went up front, cause the phone didn't work, and was told they're no longer required to furnish those. Also, there was no coffee pot in the room either. The ONLY saving grace was the bed was comfortable. People walked through the parking lot all night. Everytime we left and cameback to the room we'd have to walk up front to have our cards redone to gain entry into our room. We did have a fridge and microwave that worked as well. And the tv as well. The pool, HA HA HA, evidentally its not required to be provided now either. It had the black tarp over it and all the lounge chairs were stacked up. And no place to wash any laundry either. Seen and killed 2 roaches, probably came in from the crack in the door jam. Mostly stayed gone unless we needed to shower or sleep.

Water troubles
We arrived extremely late 4am. They were accomdating for us. However the wTwr was ice cold and we couldn't shower after a 16 hour drive. Owner said leave it running fow awhile. We left it running for 20 minutes atill cold. The next day we listened to the remodeling of the room beside ours. And then dealt with no water, shut off while I was in the shower.

Room was in decent condition and was updated. Few minor things- did find a live black bug, few random hairs on the bed and small stains on the bedding. Service was excellent. I had a last minute change of plans on when I was arriving and they worked with me and allowed me to change my arrival/check-in date. Property- no complaints. Property was as expected for a lower cost hotel. Property was right by the road. Didn't have any issues.

Comfortable and convenient
Went for a concert at the North Charleston Coliseum. It was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Lots of restaurants nearby and the room was comfortable. Looks like they are in the middle of renovating.
