Great location

Pros: Overall location
Room was very clean, much smaller than I anticipated. Basically a bed was the only thing that could fit in the room so there was not much room for our belongings.

Comfortable B and B in downtown

Location was very close to restaurants, courthouse, art galleries, antique shops, etc. Staff was polite and attentive. Would stay here again.

Excellent location and fantastic staff

The Elliott house is in an ideal location, close to many of the best restaurants and shopping. It is also close to many museums and the market. It is a smaller hotel, so you have a bit more of a personal experience.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Within in walking distance of many restaurants and attractions. Free breakfast every morning and free wine and cheese every evening.

Close to downtown and easy to walk everywhere

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: We prefer off-beat places rather than fancy hotels so this fit the bill
Cons: It was a bit noisy especially when the local restaurants start recycling their glass bottles at 7am in the morning
Location: Plenty of stuff to do, we did not have a car and walked everywhere. We enjoyed visiting Fort Sumter especially the boat ride
We stayed 3 nights at the hotel and spent most of the time enjoying wonderful Charleston and not at the Hotel. The food and restaurants in Charleston are excellent. Loved the architecture and history.

Nice Inn, close to great restaurants.

The three restaurants on Queen street were great, I really loved MUSK. But Poogans Porch, and Queen 82 were also very good.

Great location, but...

Great location and that's what you are paying for but this dated B&B is in need of updating, aesthetically and comfort-wise.

Nice hotel, perfect location

Posted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: Well decorated rooms, comfortable bed
Cons: Smelled a little musty, better curtains to block out kitchen light from building next store.
Location: Perfect location, Husk right next store, easy walk to great restaurants and shops.
Great central location. Friendly staff, very charming courtyard. Our room smelled a little musty though, and we were right next to a kitchen that stayed up late. Complementary breakfast served in bed, which was really nice (although, the food wasn't that great, just more of a sweet thought).
