“Highly Recommended”

I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I don't have a single complaint about my stay. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful. Breakfast each morning was terrific, and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a wonderful location. We used the valet parking and just walked everywhere we wanted to go.

“5 people can fit!”

A group of five twenty-somethings found the space comfortable and the hotel lobby was just beautiful. We were pleased with the arrangements, and the nice little extras, like the birds in the lobby!

“Wonderful Staff”

Great hotel with wonderful staff. Young men at the front door were so helpful with parking. Great breakfast and cocktail hour. Perfect location.

“Enjoyed the location”

The hotel is historic but should present its historical value more. The curtain in our room was broken but it was not a deterrent. The staff was informative and courteous. We enjoyed our stay!

“Spring break”

The hotel was terrific. Great location, lovely place. Nice breakfasts, and they hosted a happy hour every day, complete with snacks.

“Beautiful Hotel”

The hotel was immaculate, our room was perfect. My daughter and I stayed for two nights and felt like we were in a luxurious hotel. The beds were pillow top with light down comforters, the fridge/microwave area was very convenient for keeping drinks/snacks. Everyone in the staff that we had contact with was friendly and helpful. Having two rooms (living and bed)was a nice way to not feel cramped. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, the manager's reception was also nice.

“Very Impressed! Will go back!”

In all of our trips to Charleston we had never stayed at the Embassy Suites before, but we will definately stay there again! Could not have asked for a better location, nicer staff or a nicer experience.

“Unique Historic Hotel”

Very nice hotel with excellent manager's reception and free breakfast as part of stay. Hotel is an old fort in the city of Charleston and then was the original site of the military academy, The Citadel. Perfect location, helpful staff, nice place to stay and would use again.

“nice hotel”

The breakfast was fabulous, happy hour was good (all included in price). The hotel was convient to everything. The connoisseur was very helpful in recommending restaurants. Overall great stay, however 1st room didn't have a window. We moved and was satified with that room.
