“Charleston Embassy Suites”

I liked the idea of staying in a historical structure. The atrium is beautiful and I found myself imagining the Citadel cadets in formation. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The suite was spacious and the air conditioning worked very well, which is a must in a South Carolina summer. The hotel is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was satisfying. I would stay here again and I would also recommend it to others.

“Historic Hotel Charleston”

When we booked the hotel we had no idea it had been the original Citadel in Charleston. The history of the building was amazing. The convenience to walk anywhere in Historic Charleston was terrific. Great for families. All the rooms are suites.

“Great Value and Comfort”

We were quite surprised at how nice this hotel was. Our room was wonderful! We loved the extra touches of Complimentary Breakfast and the Happy Hour from 5:30 - 7pm. We would return and would also use this facilities meeting rooms upstairs. In conclusion the location of this hotel is perfect, the rooms were clean, the staff was very pleasant.

“Great first visit to Charleston.”

This was our first trip to Charleston and we loved our stay at Embassy Suites! The location was perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and dinning. The hotel was everything we hoped for, and the customer service was the best!! We will definitely be staying here again.

“Great Price for Historic Hotel Stay”

Located in the Historic Citadel, the hotel was very charming and added to our visit of Charleston. We enjoyed the Buffet Breakfast as well as the Happy hour immensely. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Charleston!

“Perfect!”

The location of the hotel was perfect! Convenient to restaurants and shops and the visitors' center with free trolleys and tours buses was just around the block. Best of all was the hotel's setting on beautiful Marian Square and the fabulous farmers' market there on Saturdays. The hotel room was spacious and featured 2 flat screen tvs as well as kitchenette with microwave and fridge) and living room. The full breakfast, friendly front desk staff and historic architecture throughout hotel were also much appreciated. I would definitely go back!

We have stayed here several times and we love it. It's a great location right by the market on Saturday mornings, and within walking distance of everything we love to do in Charleston.

I would reccomend this hotel because it is a very beautiful and historic place to stay. It is the old Citadel building and they have restored it wonderfully. Our suite was clean and comfortable. It has a great location as well. Staff was friendly and helpful and they have a great happy hour as well. I will go back again.

“Great hotel. Wish the room is cleaned in time.”

Great hotel. Great location and friendly staff. One problem we had was when we came back to our room around 4 PM, it was not yet cleaned. Then we went to the pool and came back, and we found the room keepers cleaning our room. They were not a bit apologetic or friendly.
