“Enjoyed the location”

The hotel is historic but should present its historical value more. The curtain in our room was broken but it was not a deterrent. The staff was informative and courteous. We enjoyed our stay!

“Beautiful Hotel”

The hotel was immaculate, our room was perfect. My daughter and I stayed for two nights and felt like we were in a luxurious hotel. The beds were pillow top with light down comforters, the fridge/microwave area was very convenient for keeping drinks/snacks. Everyone in the staff that we had contact with was friendly and helpful. Having two rooms (living and bed)was a nice way to not feel cramped. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, the manager's reception was also nice.

“Very Impressed! Will go back!”

In all of our trips to Charleston we had never stayed at the Embassy Suites before, but we will definately stay there again! Could not have asked for a better location, nicer staff or a nicer experience.

“Unique Historic Hotel”

Very nice hotel with excellent manager's reception and free breakfast as part of stay. Hotel is an old fort in the city of Charleston and then was the original site of the military academy, The Citadel. Perfect location, helpful staff, nice place to stay and would use again.

“nice hotel”

The breakfast was fabulous, happy hour was good (all included in price). The hotel was convient to everything. The connoisseur was very helpful in recommending restaurants. Overall great stay, however 1st room didn't have a window. We moved and was satified with that room.

“It was a good trip”

This was our second time down to Charleston for a little vacation and we really enjoyed the hotel. They pretty much give you a giant breakfast of your choosing and then each evening from 5-7:30 they have finger foods and free drinks with your room card. That was nice though the free wine tasted like as my wife put it "toilet bowl cleaner" but hey the bud light on draft at least was no surprise. Rooms were large and clean and the atrium was really nice. Location is good and within walking distance of just about anything you could want as long as 1/2 mile walk doesn't bother you. The parking garage is right across the road so convenient as well and they have valet parking if you want it. I'll stay here again as the price was good and I liked all the amenities and location.

“Historic Charleston”

This hotel was originally a fort and fits in well with the historic character of the city. Spent only one night there on a return layover from a vacation trip, but really enjoyed the city and the accomodations. Service was top-rate. The complimentary full breakfast was outstanding. Can't wait to return for a longer stay.
