Accomodating Staff

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Beauty of the atrium. Suites were large and spacious. Happy hour every evening from 5:30 -7:30 included free drinks with light hors d' oeurves.
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location. Turn for Tanger outlet was just across the road. Plenty of restaurants and other shops near by. Many within walking distance.
This hotel was beautiful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent service. Great place for any family function. Food was delicious and tastefully presented. Beautiful views from atrium balcony and inside suite overlooking the town.

CHS hotel

Pros: I like the decor and the comfort of the beds.
Cons: Cleanliness of the bathroom due to the mold in the tub. Extended hours for room service.
Location: This is a nice location that's near the airport, shopping, and many places to dine and relax.
We always have a good experience at the Embassy hotels.

Room was suppose to be non smokeing but it was very smokey smelling. Told the front desk they didn't seem to mind. Room was also a little dated for the price.

Good Stay - Older Hotel

Posted Jun 17, 2015
Pros: Great price and location.
Cons: Overall updating. Beds, wall coverings, furniture, pool area.
Location: Not much to do at this hotel. However, across the street is a major shopping center area. All the top retailers are within a few blocks of the hotel
We had a nice stay at the Embassy Suites in North Charleston. The rooms were well cleaned and there were no issues with the amenities. This is an older hotel and really needs updating. We have stayed in 3 Embassy Suites in the past year and this one was the oldest. Staff was excellent and well informed. We will do more research when booking an Embassy Suite in the future.

Hotel ok for the money

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Location was perfect for our needs
Cons: Clean up lobby area so that it does not have an odor
Location: Close to the airport and outlets
Hotel seemed to be one of the older Embassy suites. The lobby had an odd odor. Staff was not as attentive to guests as they could be . When I checked in I had to stand at the front desk for several minutes before I was even acknowledged. Once I was greeted the young man did take care of my needs.

Hotel near convention center

Posted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: wonderful breakfast buffet
We booked through Expedia and received a check-in time of 3pm, which we printed off and had in our hand when we arrived at the hotel. Upon arrival at 345pm, we were greeted and informed that the check in was at 4 (which was fine since we were only 15 minutes early) and the room was not ready yet. I asked the woman a question and she responded by ignoring my question and stating I was going to be put on a short waiting list. In the end the short wait ended up being an hour. Had I known this, we could have gone to Tanger, but instead I was under the impression it was a short wait and sat bored with the other guests. I understand things happen, but when you work in customer service you should not make the customer feel like they are an inconvenience to you. Everytime I have stayed in this hotel the staff has been amazing. I was very disappointed with this trip. The gentleman who finally checked us in was great but unfortunately the negative experience tends to leave a bad taste. I have recommended this hotel to family and friends in the past and while I may give it one more chance I am timid to recommend it to someone else again.

Posted May 31, 2015
We enjoyed staying there. The breakfast was good, the omelette could have been cooked better but cook was in a rush. The cocktail & snacks were good & they had a variety. Overall the facitiles were nice & the room was mostly clean.
