Good base from which to experience CharlestonPosted Sep 28, 2013
Pros: Very friendly staff, good breakfast overall good value for money
Location: We picked this for ready access to the interstate as well as historical downtown
A very good value stay when visiting Charleston. The breakfast attendant lady ( originally from Phillipines) was a great ambassador for this property. Generally everything you need when on a road trip

Nice pool, decent breakfastPosted Sep 17, 2013
Pros: Location, pool.
Location: About a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Charleston.
Upon arrival, we discovered that our cable TV was not working. We reported it to the front desk and were told that maintenance had already left for the day (this was around 5pm) but we were promptly moved to a new room within 15 minutes. The outdoor pool was nice and well maintained but the jets on the hot tub did not work. (We did not report this.) The breakfast included scrambled eggs and sausage, biscuits, and gravy, which were all decent quality and we were happy to have something beyond the basic bagel and waffle offerings. My only true complaint about this hotel is that the bed is too firm for my liking and I was stiff and uncomfortable the next day. For reference, we usually sleep on a plush memory foam, so I'm sure others who prefer a firmer mattress would find them satisfactory. It's right next door to a Cook Out and across the street from CVS, in a nice part of town.

Nice one night stayPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: The room was nice and wasn't dated looking
Cons: tv situation.
Location: A lot of places to eat near by.
My husband and I stayed for a night and the only thing I'd complain about is the tv situation. I don't know how they have it set up, but you have to unplug it from the back and plug back in or the sound won't work when you turn it on. Staff was nice and the room was clean.

Very nice and definitely would stay againPosted Sep 11, 2013
Pros: The breakfast and location
Cons: Cleaning of bathrooms
Location: Charleston Southern University 2 mins away Downtown Charleston 20 mins away Shopping mall and outlet stores 10-15 mins away
The accomodations were surprisingly very upscale! Staff very friendly and manager's reception was nice after longday of work and driving. Room was very spacious, I stayed in executive suite, but bathroom had not been thoroughly clean and dirty linen was still hanging in shower. I went to lay down and there was a spider in the bed....I did keep the room and got a very good nights rest. The breakfast was phenomanol!! Probably by far best at any hotel I've stayed that offers free breakfast! I' m sure I will use tgem again!

First time visiting CharlestonPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: the cleaniness, and breakfast
This was my first time visiting Charleston, and I am so glad I chose Fairfield Inn to stay at. The hotel was very nice, staff was pleasent, and we didn't have any issues. The following morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast, very good. Several choices to choose from, we were very impressed. We definately will be staying here again!

Good overall stayPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very pleasant. The beds weren't as comfortable for me as I've experienced before at a Fairfield Inn, but overall is was great. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
