The best part of our stay

Posted Feb 26, 2015
8 ladies and I (book club) decided to visit Charleston since we had read so many books about it. The weather turned out to be rainy and cold but the hotel with their wonderful rooms, happy hour of wine and cheese (free) and cookies at night were wonderful. Especially since we were a noisy bunch. The staff were absolutely great!

Great hotel in historic Charleston, SC

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Everything. Check in was very friendly and efficient. The lobby area and sitting areas were great. Very nice wine and cheese in the afternoon.
Location: Shopping, the old market, battery area, fine restaurants.
We were only there one night but the hotel is fabulous and the staff was great. The hotel is in the historical district - very close to shopping, the old market, the battery and many very fine restaurants. We would love to go back for a longer stay in the future.

Wonderful people, noisy hotel

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Delicious breakfast, great location, nicest employees ever, pretty rooms
Cons: The bed was very soft, too soft, you sunk in the middle and we both have back and neck aches now.
The people and hotel couldn't have been nicer. The amenities were fabulous. The construction outside our window and very thin walls made for a few nights of interrupted sleep.

Great Location in the Heart of Charleston

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: The room was extremely large and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Really enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Located on Church street in the French Market district. Numerous restaurants, shopping and historical sites nearby. I was able to walk everywhere.
I spent a week at this hotel and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at in a long time in terms of the staff, service and amenities.

French Quarter Hotel IS Charleston's Place to Stay

Posted Jan 9, 2015
The hotel is very comfortable. Love the décor! The staff is outstanding. They really make you feel welcome!! Rooms are comfortable with a big bathroom (we had the King room). Evening wine and cheese is a great way to further relax, and just the thing to take off the "hunger bite" if you have a late dinner reservation. The only thing that would have been better is if they had an on-site restaurant. I did notice there was a Ruth Chris' Steakhouse opening there soon. That should help those (like us) who checked in late on our arrival and didn't want to roam around the town to find a place to eat.
