Historic District

Posted Jul 18, 2014
The location of this hotel was excellent! It was in a safe area within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was a little disappointing like you would find at a cheap motel. The room was charming and made us feel as if we were stepping back in time.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, terrific location. Breakfast delivered to your room each morning, if you wish. Free wine, crackers and cheese reception at the the sister inn next door. Really wonderful stay in a really beautiful city.

Never Again!

Posted Jun 23, 2014
The only amenity was a continental breakfast which they did deliver in a timely manor. Our room was no bigger than our bedroom at home. Bathroom very small. After driving many hours and finally getting to the hotel, we had to get the luggage cart and take it to the parking lot (not close), load our belongings ourselves, push it to the hotel and take it up the elevator, push it to the other side of the building where our closet was located. Pictures are deceiving. BTW, we're senior citizens. By the time we checked 'ourselves in', we were exhausted and finished for the day............

Wedding anniversary

Posted Jun 19, 2014
I can't even begin to describe how wonderful our stay was!! We arrived in just enough time to drop off our things and get to our dinner reservation, when we returned from dinner which was just a short walk away, we found a note addressed to us from the concierge along with a bottle of wine chilling, congratulating us on our 1 year anniversary! We had only mentioned it in passing during check in and loved the thoughtful gesture! The complimentary breakfast (brought to your room or dine in the courtyard), wine reception and evening sherry night caps were only a few of the wonderful amenities that made us enjoy our stay! We loved how close we were to the shopping, the restaurants and being in the midst of historic charleston! We WILL be staying at this hotel again AND telling all of our friends to do the same! :)

GREAT hotel for the price

Posted Jun 16, 2014
This place is really nice -- clean, large room, awesome location, friendly staff, relatively inexpensive. It is by no means lavish, but we thought it was a bargain compared to our other choices in the area. Breakfast is available in the morning at the neighboring hotel, but we opted for the FREE continental breakfast delivered right to our room. That was a really nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Nice hotel in the historic district.

Posted May 16, 2014
Pros: Easy access to everything. Right in the middle of the historic district.
Cons: A little pricey for what you get.
Location: As said before, easy access to everything including shopping, carriage rides, and restaurants
No restaurant but had a nice continental breakfast and afternoon wine, cheese and cracker happy hour. It's right on King street which is like Michigan Ave. in Chicago. All the upscale shops, restaurants, etc. Easy access to every thing.

Nice boutique hotel in great location

Posted May 15, 2014
The hotel's main lobby was rather unimpressive but our room was lovely and large with two double beds. Rather plain decor but freshly painted and very light and airy with windows on two sides. Quite charming overall. The price was a bit steep but we enjoyed our stay and loved that it was so conveniently located which allowed us to walk to wherever we wanted to go.

Great location.

Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: The room and location.
Cons: Service in the dining room for breakfast.
Location: King street is wonderful for shopping and within walking distance ere Re great historical houses to visit.
We enjoyed our stay at The Fulton Lane Inn. We loved the location so close to King Street with its array of shops and easy walking distance to restaurants and sights. The room was surprisingly spacious with a large bathroom and a very comfortable four poster bed. The only negative aspect would be the level of service for breakfast which was extremely slow and disorganised. However the staff were pleasant and the young man who checked us in was very helpful and helped with restaurant reservations.
