Great location in the centre of Charleston.

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Charm, atmosphere, location, friendliness.
Cons: Wasn't sure how room service worked. Eg what to do if we wanted coffee - and how much it cost. I would have preferred a coffee maker in the room.
Location: Architecture, fantastic market, ice cream and candy shops were just awe inspiring. Doesn't everyone buy a Charleston rice bead necklace? Great vibe!
I was expecting something a bit more intimate. The Inn was much bigger than I expected - more like a hotel, but no less charming. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and very helpful. We followed all of their recommendations as to where to eat and what to see and do. Parking was not overly complicated. Breakfast was delivered to the room - what a luxury, although the coffee was not always as hot as we would have liked. Regarding the lack of coffee maker in the room, one hotel we stayed at had a coffee grinder in the room so guests could grind their own coffee beans before making a coffee in the room. I thought that was a nice touch. The wine and nibbles were most welcome after our long drive, as was the sherry. I could get used to this!. Our family had a wonderful experience of your beautiful city.

Great location in the historic district.

Pros: Staff and location.
Cons: Needs a little updating.
The inn was a little worn, but clean. The front desk staff were all very friendly and eager to help. The location is great. We'd stay there again.

Close to everything!

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Loved the quiet room - no sound from above, below or outside the door.
Cons: Add a timer function to the TV for those who like to drift off to the evening news :)
Location: Many retail and antique shops -the Charleston Market- too many top-notch restaurants to list- Waterfront Park, Rainbow Row - the Battery- museums ...
Fulton Lane Inn is close to many attractions and wonderful restaurants. We were able to park the car on our arrival and walk everywhere during our 3-night stay. The staff is friendly and courteous - the room was clean and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend to our friends and will likely return.

Great location and view in the heart of Boston

Posted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Lobby smelled like expensive perfume. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Elevators were too slow and hot. Key cards needed constant reprogramming, no idea why.
Location: Prime location, one block from Boston Common. Several places nearby for a quick breakfast.
Super friendly hotel staff, location, and amenities are what made this a great hotel to stay at.

Historic District

The location of this hotel was excellent! It was in a safe area within walking distance of many attractions. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The free breakfast was a little disappointing like you would find at a cheap motel. The room was charming and made us feel as if we were stepping back in time.

Never Again!

Posted Jun 23, 2014
The only amenity was a continental breakfast which they did deliver in a timely manor. Our room was no bigger than our bedroom at home. Bathroom very small. After driving many hours and finally getting to the hotel, we had to get the luggage cart and take it to the parking lot (not close), load our belongings ourselves, push it to the hotel and take it up the elevator, push it to the other side of the building where our closet was located. Pictures are deceiving. BTW, we're senior citizens. By the time we checked 'ourselves in', we were exhausted and finished for the day............

Wedding anniversary

Posted Jun 19, 2014
I can't even begin to describe how wonderful our stay was!! We arrived in just enough time to drop off our things and get to our dinner reservation, when we returned from dinner which was just a short walk away, we found a note addressed to us from the concierge along with a bottle of wine chilling, congratulating us on our 1 year anniversary! We had only mentioned it in passing during check in and loved the thoughtful gesture! The complimentary breakfast (brought to your room or dine in the courtyard), wine reception and evening sherry night caps were only a few of the wonderful amenities that made us enjoy our stay! We loved how close we were to the shopping, the restaurants and being in the midst of historic charleston! We WILL be staying at this hotel again AND telling all of our friends to do the same! :)

GREAT hotel for the price

Posted Jun 16, 2014
This place is really nice -- clean, large room, awesome location, friendly staff, relatively inexpensive. It is by no means lavish, but we thought it was a bargain compared to our other choices in the area. Breakfast is available in the morning at the neighboring hotel, but we opted for the FREE continental breakfast delivered right to our room. That was a really nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Prices were very high during Spoleto. Lack of a hot breakfast or other amenities, no downstairs lounge, made it much less nice than we expected. At a uch lower rate it might have seemed very good because of the location.
