Not quite the hotel we are used to staying in. This hotel had a fair price.

Ideally situated by for access to townPosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Spacious with very helpful staff at reception. I also like the swimming pool.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit of a picnic with a limited choice. One would expect more from a hotel of this standing.
Location: Quieter location but with good access to town. Very handy having the visitors centre opposite.
Whilst at the edge of town the hotel was extremely well placed for the visitors centre across the road fro where free trolleys could take you to all places of interest. The hotel was quiet and friendly with the main shopping area of King Street just around the corner. A very comfortable and pleasant stay in a lovely town.

Perfect location and very comfortable hotel.Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: Great location for exploring Downtown Charleston.
Cons: Can't think of anything
Location: Over the road from visitor information center and FREE trolley bus outsidethe door. Charleston Museum good for adults and children at the junction
Great welcome at reception. Bedroom huge and comfortable. All staff so friendly and helpful. Good quality breakfast included in price. Free hot and cold drinks provided in lobby 24 hours. When we encountered a problem the staff could not have been more reassuring and helpful, making us feel that it really mattered to them. Would deinitely go bac there again.

Location was perfect!. 10 Min walk to Waterfront.Posted Sep 24, 2014
Pros: Location!!!! Convenient walking distance to just about everything in downtown Charleston. Clean, up to date rooms. Staff was exceptional.
Location: Free trolley directly across the street. SHORT walk to restaurants and shops. Visitors center across the street. Airport transportation right there.
Our flight came in at 10:30am. My husband and I took the bus (Carta) from the Airport $3 each which was about a 15 min ride. We arrived by 11:30, check in wasn't until 3pm. Brandon, the manager had us in our room by noon. There are many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The trolley pick up and drop off is right across the street and so is the visitors center which is convenient if you are booking excursions to plantations, beaches, etc. We were offered bottled waters each morning before leaving the hotel. The free breakfast was above par. Hotel staff was very professional, courteous, and friendly. Not one bad experience. Oh, Brandon also offered us late check out 2pm as our flight wasn't until 4pm. Very nice vacation, will be back soon.

Great hotel in a good locationPosted Sep 8, 2014
Booked this hotel for Labor Day weekend. It is perfectly located. The hotel was within walking distance of many attractions. You will have many options of restaurants. Go down king street and you will find all types of food. The room was big and spacious. The AC worked well. The pillows were small, but comfortable. The restroom had plenty of towels and most necessities. If you plan to watch tv, you'll have plenty of channels to chose from. I didn't get to go to the pool, but did see plenty of people enjoying it. The free breakfast buffet was awesome!!! We had many options to include waffles, biscuits and gravy, old fashioned oat meal, cereal, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and much more. They have free coffee and tea all day long. At 5:30 they put out warm chocolate chip cookies, but act fast because they are usually gone within 10 min. The parking is not free since you will need to park in a public parking garage. The staff is great. They were all firefly and helpful.

This hotel is very clean and the staff is amazing! The blonde haired lady that checked us in was very friendly, knowledgable, and helpful! The room was clean and inviting. The breakfast was the best I've had in a hotel! The location is perfect! I will definitely be returning!
