“Impressive quality”

The hotel was beautiful, packed with little details that made the stay wonderful (e.g., milk 7 cookies, afternoon tea, etc.). The location is great for touring the city and our view was fantastic. Room was clean, bigger than expected, and bed was very comfortable. I would go back in an instant.

“Super comfortable; central location”

There are few hotels that offer as many 'extras' in the standard price any where. The four poster beds are comfortable and are in rooms in which we heard no neighbours, adjacent, below nor above. The room service breakfast choice was finite, but offered more than enough choice for our 4 day stay. The free evening wine and cheese party was a great way to meet fellow guests and the roof terrace offers brilliant views of the river and the city. Free tea, coffee and cordial was another nice touch. Big bathroom with sunken bath and shower.

“Great Charleston Hotel”

The staff and accommodations were excellent. The staff was always ready to help wether it was with directions, restaurant recommendations or help with transportation. My husband and I visited Charleston to celebrate a wedding anniversary and we could not have been happier with our hotel choice. I would definitely stay there again.

“A fantastic holiday treat”

HarbourView Inn was incredible, right in the heart of downtown Charleston and very quaint. Going a few weeks before Christmas made it even more special. There was a beautiful tree in the lobby with a fire going in the fireplace. There was always an endless supply of treats (M&Ms and waters in the afternoon, wine and cheese in the early evening and cookies and milk at bedtime). What a treat! The bedding was so comfortable and the cleanliness outstanding. Everyone at the hotel was extremely cordial and helpful with directions around Charleston. We would DEFINATELY stay there again!

“Beautiful hotel”

Our stay was perfect in a beautiful hotel with breakfast served in your room, afternoon teas, and cheese and wine get togethers and ending with homemade cookies in the evening. It is a great location right on the water and an easy walk to everywhere, the staff was welcoming and friendly at all times. If you plan to be in Charleston you must stay here.

“Nice hotel in an excellent location”

Located across from Waterfront Park, this hotel is very well situated. My wife and I were able to walk to all of the major points of interest and to a number of excellent restaurants. The complimentary afternoon tea, evening wine and cheese and cookies and milk added a nice touch. Would recommend this hotel to a friend.

“Lovely hotel”

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Nicely appointed and very clean room. Great location. Friendly and able staff. We would stay here again if we were in Charleston again.

The hotel was very well maintained, the staff was attentive and the location was good. The only complaint was the hot water for tea was luke warm, but as a tea drinker, I encounter this problem more often than you think.

“Beautiful way to stay in Charleston”

We had a wonderful visit. The hotel is great. There is a terrace on the building for all hotel guests to use. So even if you do not get a waterfront room (or pay for it) you can enjoy the wonderful views. The room is well appointed with wood furnishings and a fabulous bathroom. We were very comfortable. Included in the price of the room was a morning continental breakfast delivered to our room, an early evening wine and cheese (kids love cheese)hour and late night cookies and milk. The hotel felt fancy but our family with a 4 and 10 yr old did not feel out of place. So nice but not pretentious. The location is great. Walking distance to the market area, all the dining Charleston has to offer and a lovely little pier. But I cannot forget to mention the fountain at Waterfront Park (just outside the hotel's front door) that kids can actually play in! We will stay here again. Nothing negative to report.
