Great hotel and close to everythingPosted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Very comfortable beds Nice staff
Cons: The bathroom smelled moldy
I had a wonderful stay at the holiday inn. It is within walking distance/short drive of all the shopping stores on king st. It is also only a 20 minute drive to both folly beach and sullivan's island. I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was super friendly. Only thing that i didnt care for during my stay was that there is no self-parking in the facility (you have to pay the staff and they will valet your car).

Great hotel, easy to walk to major sitesPosted Aug 6, 2014
We finished our stay yesterday, and we really enjoyed the hotel. It is located in an area of Charleston that is undergoing some redevelopment. If you walk about two blocks down Meeting Street, you can get to the Visitor's Center and the Charleston Museum and from there is a straight shot into the heart if historic Charleston. About a block away is King Street which is loaded with restaurants and nightlife and further down with shopping opportunities. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only negative was having to wait while one of the valets left us standing at the curb while he worked some Southern charm on a young lady. Other than that, I would gladly come back to stay again.

do not hesitate this hotel is for you!!Posted Jul 31, 2014
Pros: clean rooms. walls thick enough not to hear noises from the outside. and did i mention the staff!!
Cons: pool sched. open later to include adults only at that time. love a moonlit swim in peace!!
Location: its charleston!! its have everything you want museums restaurants bars and a visitor center to tie it all in
having prior experience in the hospitality field all i can say is WOW!! well done!! this is a hotel that all others should aspire to!! staff very friendly and professional from the moment you walk in the door. hotel is one of the cleanest ive ever seen and that is saying something!! Valet service is timely and professional. although didnt get a chance to visit the restaurant i did however visit the bar and they were attentive and accommodating. asked that housekeeping be suspended during my stay and not only was it not a problem, there were no disturbances at all. Kudos to a job well done.

We were in Charleston for 4th of July and had a perfect view of the fireworks in Charleston harbor and Mt Pleasant. It was a wonderful weekend getaway.
